Blasi And Zalayeta: Agreements With Napoli
From today, Manuele Blasi isn't a Juventus player any more. Indeed the Club have sold him to Napoli on a permanent basis. Marcelo Zalayeta will also be staying in Naples: the two clubs have decided to extend the player share contract they signed last August.
The Civitavecchia-born midfielder bids a permanent farewell to Juventus after collecting 57 appearances, all occurring during the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons, when with Fabio Capello as manager he helped to win two League titles and earned himself a call-up in the Italian national team too.
During his long tenure as a Juventus player (he was signed in 2003), Blasi spent a few seasons away from Turin on loan: at Parma, at Fiorentina and at Napoli, where he arrived last August (together with Zalayeta) after spending the entire training camp in Claudio Ranieri's squad.
