Smaller Squad Resumes Training In Vinovo
As scheduled, the squad resumed training this morning after two days off. An incomplete group of players gathered in Vinovo, as the 12 internationals called up by their National teams were missing (see list). The Bianconeri who were present worked on fitness and technique. Iaquinta, Legrottaglie, Mellberg and Zanetti worked separately as they try to get fit before the League restarts.
So the week's training begun, and considering the absence of official matches, it is going to be a short week, with only four training sessions. After today's one, there'll be another three, all held in the morning, before another two-day break.
From Tuesday 14th the team will start thinking about the game at Napoli on Saturday 18th (kick-off 8.30 pm), as they'll have back injured players Buffon and Camoranesi, but also Poulsen, Sissoko (who will in any case be missing Saturday's game through suspension) and Ekdal, the only internationals that have just one match to play with their National teams. The others are scheduled to return on Thursday 16th, just one day before the team departs for Naples.
