Squad Back At Work
After the day off on Wednesday, Juventus went back to work this morning in Vinovo. The Bianconeri started preparing the next match, the one scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Olimpico against Palermo.
The squad was initially divided into two groups. Those who played in Minsk trained on the new pitch at the Juventus Center, positioned next to the main one, supervised by fitness coaches Capanna and Scanavino; they mainly carried out physical training, and Jonathan Zebina also took part.
The second group, which included Marchisio despite him playing the second half against Bate Borisov, worked on technique. In the last part of the session, the Bianconeri reunited for a training match.
Gigi Buffon trained normally with Chimenti and Manninger, supervised by Giorgio Pellizzaro, while Nicola Legrottaglie obviously didn't train, as he picked up an injury during the game in Minsk. Ultrasound scans carried out on the defender showed he pulled his right thigh's bicep muscle; he won't be available against the Sicilian team and will be back on the team in around 20-25 days.
