Juve Hope To Pursue Winning Streak
Coming from 5 victories in a row, Juventus will be hoping to pursue in their winning streak when they meet Chievo on Sunday afternoon.
Real Madrid, Torino, Bologna, Roma and Real Madrid for a second time constitute the five recent victims of Juventus who notwithstanding the number of injured players have managed to register five consecutive wins. The next step towards the top of the Serie A table is the match against Chievo Verona.
The match against Chievo represents both a delicate and important obstacle. Delicate due to the fact that the team from Verona, who has since the last match changed coach, will be doing all in its means to improve its league standing (third from last with 6 points). Important because if Juventus manage to add another victory to their winning streak the chances of making it to the top of the table will be improved further.
Juventus met Chievo Verona 10 times in the Serie A with 9 victories for the bianconeri and one draw. At the Bentegodi Juventus failed to beat Chievo only once in a match which took place on the 18th of January 2007 and which saw Vieira equalise for Juventus after the home team had gone ahead thanks to Franceschini.
Juventus players who formerly played for Chievo include Legrottaglie and Amauri.
