Armand Traoré: New Power For The Left Flank
The left fullback has been signed from Arsenal on a temporary basis. Athletic freshness, phsyical strength and technique to give away: the Juventus left flank has been enriched with more quality thanks to the arrival of Armand Traoré from Arsenal.
The player joined the bianconeri on temporary basis for the 2010/11 season against a payment of €500,000.
He is yet to turn 21 and was born in Paris on the 8th October 1989. Traorè began his still short but intense career under the guidance of Arsene Wenger who he joined in 2006 at 16 years of age.
In his first season, Traorè gained space in the Gunners line-up playing especially in the FA Cup making his debut in the Premier League during the following season on the 5th April 2008 against Liverpool. During the 2008/09 championship he was loaned to Portsmouth after collecting 28 appearances and scoring his first goal on the 18th May 2009 against Sunderland.
He was part of the Under 19 and the Under 21 national teams. The Frenchman returned to Arsenal last season where he played various matches from the starting line-up including the big matches against Chelsea and Liverpool. He is now a Juventus player.

"Hopeful For The Future"
Nobody was used to beginning the season with a defeat, in fact Juventus had not done so since 1982. After the defeat against Bari there is a great will to come back and to start off again after the break.
As a testimony to this are the words of the two senators of the group, Alessandro Del Piero and Giorgio Chiellini who spoke by means of their personal websites.
On www.alessandrodelpiero.com, the captain commented with these words with regards to the match at the San Nicola: "We started off badly and this obviously angered me a lot but at the start of the season it is right to give the right weight to the results and analyze them on a performance level, even though unsatisfactory. After the match we were all rather disappointed even though I would not like this to be interpreted as a sort of negative appendix to last season".
Del Piero does not want to look at the past but aim solely at the future: "We lost, we made mistakes, we paid for the last intense weeks but we have the potential to start off again after the break and correct the many things that did not work, just like we must hold on to what we did well. Soon our understanding on the field will also improve and seeing the many new players this is normal. These are not alibis but only considerations on the match we lost".
The only reference made to the past by the captain was by citing one of the coaches of last season: "I would like to take the opportunity to send my regards to the new coach of Japan, Alberto Zaccheroni and the best of luck to him for the new challenge!"
This, on the other hand, is the thought of the defender published on www.giorgiochiellini.com: "Each one of us hoped for a different start, but this must not obscure what we have done up to now and the progress shown in the last matches. We all knew that time was needed to work and consolidate the new structure of the team but we are absolutely hopeful for the future".

Camoranesi: Consensual Rescinding of Contract
Juventus Football Club has announced the consensual rescinding of the contract of footballer Mauro German Camoranesi.
When football is an art
Just like an Argentine tango, made of rhythm, improvisation and passion: this is the football of Mauro German Camoranesi, the football which the Juventus supporters admired and loved for 8 seasons during which “Camo” delighted them with his class and fantasy.
288 appearances with Juventus and 32 goals scored and many more goals which he helped his mates score thanks to his precise crosses, assists and his intuitions which would have been science fiction to others but which for him were just one of the many solutions available within his immense technical baggage.
Three scudetti and 2 Italian Super Cups: these are the trophies he won in bianconero besides a Serie B championship which Mauro accepted to take part in notwithstanding the title of World Champion which he had just won in Berlin with the Italian national team which he was eligible for thanks to a great grandfather who emigrated to Argentina from Pro Potenza Picena at the end of the 1800s.
Joyful and available with his team mates, reserved and well spoken with the media, Mauro was never the diva type and never liked to make big statements or public appearances. He always preferred to let his dribbling and his velvet like right-footed shot to speak for him. It will now be the turn of other stadiums to appreciate his right-footed shot but whoever loves Juve will always remember him with affection and gratitude.

Andrea Agnelli: "It Takes Time To Assimilate The Schemes"
New season, new championship and new faces: 6 players in the starting line-up, the coach on the bench and the management on the stands were all new. First and foremost is Andrea Agnelli. For the President, the match at the San Nicola was the first championship since he took up the post.
It was not a lucky debut but it does not change any of the plans of the bianconeri: "We are conscious of our means. Today there were 6 new players out of the starting 11. We know time is needed to assimilate the schemes. We changed everything and we have maximum faith in the work of Marotta and Del Neri".

Del Piero: "There Were Good Points Notwithstanding The Defeat"
From the joy due to the great goal scored against Strum Graz to the disappointment for the defeat against Bari: Alessandro Del Piero must change his mood. The debut in the championship did not go as everybody hoped it would but the captain is optimistic.
Here are the words of Del Piero on Juventus Channel: "We were certainly hoping for a better debut. Last week was a delicate one. There were many commitments and changes. We do not like to start off like this but everybody’s anger is a good sign. Today we improved with the passage of time. We were unlucky in a few episodes the last of which the injury suffered by Martinez, however there were good points notwithstanding the defeat. We must now take advantage of the break to work hard".

Del Neri: "We Started Off Badly But The Championship Has Just Begun"
After four victories in the Europa League, the championship began on the wrong foot. In Bari Juventus lost by 1-0 thanks to a great goal by Donati. The defeat at the San Nicola will now leave some time to international matches and brings the first two months of the season to an end.
At the end of the match Del Neri commented by saying: "We started off on the wrong foot but the championship has just begun and certainly does not end here. We must work hard and we knew this beforehand. We did not play a good match and I this could be seen but there were also positive aspects such as the character and the will to fight till the end notwithstanding being one man down due to Martinez’s injury".
"We gave them a normal number of opportunities and conceded a great goal. We must improve on an attention level because the goal was conceded due to a quickly taken free-kick. The transfer market? In the meantime we must recover Amauri and Iaquinta and then we have Aquilani. We must consider the economical aspect before making any new signings".

Trezegol, A Juventus Legend
"For Juventus… number 17 scores…David…Trezeguet!". Almost a manifesto of these last ten years. Words screamed in any stadia and in any language all over the world, for 171 times. Because as many have been the goals Trezeguet scored in his 320 presences: a monstrous average, more than a goal each two matches.
This would be enough to explain how deep is the sign David left in Juventus history, but it would have been ungenerous reducing all the emotions he gave us to a mere statistics. King David, the Cobra, Trezegol, these are his nicknames. "When he plays Trezeguet always scores", this is the choir the supporters sung for him, summarizing better than any speech the essence of his way of playing soccer: give him the “right” ball and he will transform it into a goal.
By any means: by head, right, left, acrobatically, raiding … a huge repertory, which took him to be the most prolific foreign scorer in Juventus history. World Champion with France in ’98, he arrived at Juventus in 2000, during the summer that definitively consecrated him at International level, after the golden goal scored vs. Italy in the European Championship final.
But it takes a little for the Italian supporters to forgive him, at least for Juventus supporters: during his first season, although he sometime started from the bench, he scores 15 goals in 32 matches and gains the confidence of the Club, which decides to bet on him for the future. A very apt choice, that David immediately compensate, becoming top scorer with 24 goals (ex aequo with Dario Hubner), in the following championship, crowned by the Shield conquered during the last match, coming back on Inter, on the 5th of May 2002.
It’s the first of the four Italian Championships he won with Juventus, in addition to two Italian Super Cups and a Serie B Championship. Yes, because David, in 2006, accepts to play in a lower Championship with Juventus, to take it back to the levels Juventus deserves, obviously by his goals. Right at the very end of that season, like it already happened in the past, it seems that his Torino experience is going to end, but it’s just a moment.
His marriage with Juventus has still a lot to give and David stays in bianconero for three years more. In 2007/08 he is vice top scorer in Serie A, with 20 goals, behind Del Piero, then, the injuries cut down his presences, but not his scoring average. With a French passport, but with Argentinean origins, David has always spoken a universal language, the goals’ one, which is everything to him.
You can see it by that smile that appears on his face every time he scores, while his eyes looks for mom Beatriz in the gallery, dropping confetti on the stands. Now he will look for her in other stadia, but in the one Juventus is building, the start bringing his name is already ready, because Trezeguet deserves to be among Juventus greatest players of all times.
And so merci David, gracias, buena suerte, bonne chance… Juventus will always be part of your history, and you are already part of Juventus legend.

The Farewell Of Juventus’ Chairman To David
Juventus communicates to have consensually solved the agreement with David Trezeguet. The player will shortly communicate his new destination to another club. Chairman Agnelli says:
"I’ve been, like all Juventus supporters, deeply keen on David and to his 171 goals in 10 years. A player with an average of 17 goals a season does not need any further comments. It’s been a real love affair, David will always be in the heart of all us Juventus’ supporters"

Del Neri: "Let’s Play A Championship Like Juve Is Able To"
Only one day from the beginning of Championship 2010-2011 and Gigi Del Neri is ready, and his Juve too. First obstacle is Bari, whose trainer Mr. Ventura, when he saw the calendar, said he was happy to face immediately Juventus which, unlike his team, comes from a tiring summer:
"I think Juventus has the right characteristics in running and in quality – Del Neri says – and both are important characteristics. We will go on the pitch with great respect for Bari, which last year played a good championship and which plays with great intensity and rapidity. Anyway, they will find a different Juventus from the one they faced in the past ".
Krasic and Aquilani won’t be on the pitch from the start "because I’d rather trust other players’ experience, who always trained with the group. I’ll have Marchisio back and Felipe Melo is doing well", while the latest arrival in order of time will be on the pitch:
"Considering that Amauri and Iaquinta are injured, Quagliarella must play. Martinez can be used as a forward, but only on some occasions, he plays on the outside". Concerning Quagliarella, Del Neri says: "he is a player who can integrate well in our attack game. At this purpose I want to underline how good Marotta and the Club did on the market".
Someone makes him notice that some players arrived only in the very last days, and he’s asked if he would have not preferred to have them since the beginning: "It was not easy to build this team before – he answers – it’s been important that the club did these operations in the right times to suit also economically speaking".
After a question on his Championship debut on Juventus bench ("The emotion is always there, especially when you lead such a team"), Del Neri answers to those asking if Inter is still ahead and what is Juventus target:
"Inter is still the team to beat, they’ve got more experience as a group, but many teams are equipping to do well. Ibra to Milan? He’s got a strong name, but a player makes a difference only when he plays in a context helping and stimulating him. Our target? It’s difficult to tell right now, what we surely want is to play a Championship like Juventus is able to".

Love And Passion
Andrea Agnelli granted his first interview as Juventus Chairman. He did it at Sky microphones.
Here is the interview:
What does it mean bearing the name Agnelli and being Juventus Chairman: having a smooth way or having more responsibilities?
I think that bearing the name of Agnelli means having the chance of being eligible for an accreditation toward the system, a more rapid accreditation than what it could be if I wouldn’t be an Agnelli. That is, soccer world is a world judging you very rapidly and what it notices will always be the results that Sunday after Sunday the team will get.
What feeling did you have when, after being elected Chairman, you read or listened to the sentence “in the name of the father”?
To be honest, I did not hear that sentence… But I’m happy to remember that for me there is a distinction to be made, because my father was a reference point, a great professional, and I always saw many expressions of esteem for him. But for me, he has always and only been my father.
Which is your first memory linked to Juventus?
We have to go back to ‘82, therefore my soccer memory begins there, and in fact I also have memories linked to the World Cup: I’m quite lucky because I can remember two World Championships victories, already. We went to Villar Perosa, where the team was on Summer retreat and I’ve been asked whom I wanted to seat next to. By instinct I said: I’d like to seat next to Paolo Rossi who was the World Cup hero. So I remember this lunch we had at Villar Perosa, I was eating silent near the World Cup hero and this is my first Juventus memory.
Your father became Chairman when you were 23, taking the responsibility to raise a club which was not able to win anymore. Also you decided to take care of Juventus in a difficult moment for the team: aren’t you afraid to “get burned”?
I believe that reference contexts are extremely different, in this moment it’s difficult making an analogy. As a family, we are living a moment of deep transformations, where many among us have a responsibility role, internal as well as toward the external world. In primis I think about my cousin John, about Alessandro Nasi or about Lapo. Therefore we are a thirty-year old guys' generation who – considering the context which we found ourselves in – had to take very important responsibilities. I’m aware that soccer world is a world running very fast and providing the risk of burning up, but our family union and compactness make this risk more attenuated, as we usually share every decision.
Have you ever spoken with your father about the possibility of becoming Chairman in the future?
No, to be honest, I didn’t.
In what would you imitate him?
Imitate him is a difficult word. I think he gave us and personally gave me important values, like discipline, sense of duty and obtaining what we prefixed, so these are the values he professionally passed on to me. I’d like to absolutely try to look at these values that could help me in making the choices I must make. Then to imitate him… it’s difficult to say.
In which player, Andrea Agnelli the boy, the supporter, identified the idea of Juventus?
If I think about which player identifies Juventus most, I think about the period when I was a little bit older, so when I was 16, 17, 18 when I started following the team in autonomy and Alessandro Del Piero was already there, therefore I think that this happened immediately, maybe because we were of the same age, I thought about Alessandro as the player who represented Juventus.
So now? The choice seems to be quite easy …
Of course it is now, today he’s got a twenty years old history with Juventus and he represents Juventus. But today, also depending on my role, I must think about the whole team, and then when I think about Juventus I do not think about the single element but I’m forced to think about the group.
For years you have been very close to “Triad”’s Juventus: what do you think you will take with you of that experience in your way of being the Chairman?
I have to try to look at their professional competences, my opinion is that they lived a moment of deep transformations in soccer world and that they had a great skill to innovate, thence I’ll surely try to repeat their innovation capacity and, in the meantime, an efficiency in answering to any need. Accordingly I say: efficiency and renovation.
Why in the last years you deserted the stadium, excluding the farewell match for Pavel Nedved?
Juventus is also a listed company and so managers have to manage it. In that particular moment I thought my presence could have been bulky for them, considering my previous role, therefore to put them in the best working conditions, I chose not to be present.
Always supporting the team, I guess...
Always as a supporter, but I need to thank you too if I had the chance to follow the team very closely...
What pushed you to say yes, when your cousin John called you?
We have a continuous and constant relationship because we try to reason on all the different problems of Exor holdings. Thence we regularly meet to discuss about this or that company, about this or that manager, about this or that problem we are going to face, and when Juventus situation started to fall last year we started speaking of what could have been the best arrangement for Juventus for season 2010/2011. In making this reasoning together, we also thought that the best way was to take a direct position as a family and so, having the chances to do well, we then decided I was the one to take direct responsibility.
How is it going to end the matter of the complaint Juve presented to FIGC to ask for equal treatment concerning Calciopoli? And what do you hope?
The complaint we presented is very detailed and well- founded, in our opinion. Therefore it does not ask for equal treatment but it’s a very precise complaint about the cancellation of a won Championship. From this point of view we expect, as we think it is well-founded, an answer in a short time, and we have faith, considering the motivation we carried forward, in having a positive result.
So your target is having the two Championships back, or one of the two, anyway?
Let’s say this is a little more complex matter, a little more complicated one. We should evaluate the different aspects but if juridically we’ll prove the club was correct in the various proceedings which are still pending, for sure we will consider the action to revoke and the reallocation of Titles.
Following to John Elkann’s answer and following to yours, Moratti said that when he spoke about thieving matches he never mentioned Juventus, Rejoinder?
I believe that I’ve already said what I think about Moratti’s words and I confirm, those words have been totally unnecessary.
Are you still in contact with Moggi and Giraudo? Did they give you any suggestion? Moggi said he is available...
Moggi, during the period he worked with us and also before, was surely one of the greatest market operators at continental level. Today we made a specific choice that is Marotta. So Marotta is the person fully responsible, working for us, and I’m constantly in touch with him. Concerning Mr. Giraudo, it’s different, I grew up with him, he is a friend, like I’ve already said also on other occasions, he’s like a second father to me and nothing is important as affections. But we - I, Marotta and Blanc – make our choices in total autonomy.
More Chairman or more supporter? How do you conciliate rationality and business management of a soccer club with passion?
Let’s say they do not conciliate, these are two different moments. One is during the match, when also the players are asked to show agonistic anger on the pitch, accordingly the supporter behaves on the stands. When the match is over, taking example from rugby of third half, the players should drink a beer together and so should their supporters. So during the match there is a lot of tension and agonistic anger and desire to prevail the opponent, but after that what the manager is begins to operate and he begins to reason according to the Club’s needs.
Is it true that here at Juventus headquarters, your collaborators call you Andrea only?
When I was younger I worked here for a few months and many of these people are still working here, so the relationship with some of them is surely very friendly. Someone calls me Andrea, it’s true, but everyone knows that today I’m Juventus Chairman.
First estimation after three months working in this office: which kind of soccer world did you find?
A soccer world that maybe tried to meet me because it’s living a transformation moment, as Uefa regulatory level as well as Italian regulatory level therefore the collective agreement has expired. Three months are very few to give a first estimation in such a moment... of course we have some opportunities to make soccer world improve and our target is being leaders on this path.
And which Juve did you find and what is the first thing you changed?
The first thing we changed was surely the technical part, the sport part, but you all noticed that. We came from a season that... At some point I stopped counting the many negative records we achieved last year in Juventus’ history. So the first department we had to importantly chance was the technical one. But everything comes from the choice to put in the team a piece I consider fundamental, extremely important, Marotta, from there we then took a series of decisions you know and still working on.
What is the real target for this season?
The real target for this season is finding a team able to reacquire sport mentality and winning mentality, because it’s only winning that you can go back to win, so it’s necessary to win a match, then two matches and trying to win a whole competition, if possible.
The battle on performances contracts: what is your aim?
We have an open discussion, we already had two meetings at Palazzo Chigi with undersecretary Crimi, who I esteem a lot, and currently there is a mediation activity by Crimi concerning what is a transformation moment for soccer. What we desire as Lega, at this point, is to reconsider the reference framework for contracts with single players and therefore to give us more freedom, in such a way that club’s results be equivalent to the results of the players’ economic treatments. Hand in hand there is the lost position, which must be reacquired, in the Federation, thence we have many pending situations and I have faith that in the next months they will be solved.
But are the players ready for this kind of change?
No, the players are not ready, also because many of these are the oldest ones and they live by the previous contract, of course we are very proud that the first open contract is the one signed with Marco Motta, he is a young boy, he decided to accept some conditions which are modified compared to the previous contract, but surely what we do not want to completely transform the framework of a collective contract, the aim must be a collective contract being aware that today we talk about Serie A players, with an average salary of 700 thousands euro. In short, we talk about people who can afford giving something back. In certain contexts, this happens with this kind of salaries.
What do you think about finance fair play Uefa is imposing Platini chairmanship?
The document is still in draft so it’s too early to judge, we do not have a final document yet, so it’s premature giving an opinion on that. We do completely agree on UEFA Chairman setting, and also in this case, giving logical criteria in terms of investments and obligations. We have problems at European level as well as at national level, if we think about the teams not able to record at their many championships because these criteria are missing. Finance fair play should report these parameters to a balance level in such a way to avoid bankrupt situations. This is why we consider it in a positive way.
A little remained from the previous management: a new General Manager, a new trainer, revolution in all departments. Why such radical changes? It seems to be back in 1994…
Like I was telling before, we came out of a particularly negative year and so it was necessary to act from roots. Analogies are only concerning the deep changing moment: today what matters to us is simply looking at the future, at tomorrow and therefore rebuilding a club, a team, a Juventus able to respect its tradition.
Why did you prefer Del Neri to other trainers, like Rafa Benitez?
There are so many players and in these previous years I read about so many trainers who have been put on Juventus’ bench. The first choice was Marotta, I want to confirm that, for me Marotta stays in the middle of decisions for technical and sport domain. When he arrived we thought: Del Neri is the best trainer we can have in this moment and so we choose him.
What can Del Piero still give to Juventus?
Del Piero plays on the front, he can still give goals, hoping they are going to be many.
Market with final fireworks: what’s your opinion?
We still have some days to spend on market, I can give a positive opinion so far, for acquisitions as well as transfers. We know and we are aware that having a team with many new players we should go and find a team balance. So we know we must be patient to be satisfied with our way of playing, but we have considerably lowered the team’s average age, now we are one of youngest teams of Serie A, we have considerably lowered engagements fees and this is surely positive, now we must find the good soccer.
So we can say, Juve made a revolution also on the pitch, isn’t it?
I wouldn’t say revolution, we acted where we were able to improve, in technical sport area there were many parameters on which we could have improved. There were many old players and with high salaries, but we lowered the average and we lowered salaries. The Club is the mirror of the team and the team is the mirror of the Club, so the only way to take Juventus at highest levels is to express at best on the pitch.
For the first time ever Sky cameras will go inside dressing rooms: what will be Juventus atmosphere this year?
Well, I hope you’ll find smiling players because this will mean that positive results on the pitch are coming …
What was Juve for your father?
Love and passion.
And what about you?
The same.

Who Is Fabio Quagliarella
He was born in Castellamare di Stabia on January 31st, 1983, he grew up in Youth Teams of Torino, the team with which he made his debut in Serie A on the 14th of May 2000 (victory for 2-1 vs. Piacenza). After Torino bankruptcy, in August 2005 Quagliarella pass to Udinese and was on loan to Ascoli. With the white & black jersey, vs. Treviso, he scores his first goal in Serie A. In season 2006-07 the forward, in ownership of Udinese and Sampdoria, player with the blucerchiati scoring 13 goals in the championship.
In June 2007 it’s necessary to use the envelopes: Udinese is the one winning the forward ownership who in Friuli, together with Di Natale, forms a very good pair of attack, which at the season of the season is the most prolific of Serie A. The following season is as good, and he scores totally 21 goals, eight in Uefa Cup, a competition in which he ends at third place in Top Scorers’ List.
In June 2009 Quagliarella is transferred to Napoli, where he plays with continuity and in the end his personal booty is 11 goals in 34 matches.
In the National Team, after various presences in Youth Teams, he makes his debut on March 29th, 2007 on the occasion of Italy-Scotland (2-0), valid for European qualifications. He took part to European Championship 2008 and to South Africa World Cup.
Aquilani: "It’s A Fundamental Moment In My Career"
"I’m very satisfied of being at Juventus, one of most important Clubs of the world. It’s a fundamental phase of my career, this will be a decisive year".
This is how Alberto Aquilani appears in his first meeting with the press as a Juventus player. At his side Giuseppe Marotta who says so concerning the new player:"We are happy, it’s an important acquisition for us. He’s young, he already played in the National Team and maybe in the future he could be one of Prandelli’s boys".
And concerning the National Team, Aquilani confirms that "it’s a target everyone is thinking of and obviously playing in the Italian National Team gives you more visibility, but my first target is to get back in the game and do well with this team"
The player, who will wear jersey number 14, is asked how does he feel physically: "I feel very fine, I underwent medical tests just like all other players did, and I’m at the trainer’s disposal. Injuries I had in the past are unfortunately part of the game, someone gets more and someone gets less".
Aquilani speaks about the atmosphere he found in his first days as a Juventus player: "This Juventus has great will to do well. It’s a group of young boys who is here to give the maximum, I see great enthusiasm in the Club, which made many chances lately, in the team as well as in the Club itself".
When they ask him to speak about targets, Aquilani says: "It’s not right speaking about winning the Championship, we must take our time, but we can do very well. I think Inter has a little more than the other teams, they’ve got great players and a closely knit group, we, Roma and Milan are behind, but ready to get as closer as possible".

Diego Definetively Transferred To Wolfsburg (VERGOGNA)
Juventus Football Club announces that an agreement has been finalized with VfL Wolfsburg GmbH for the disposal of the registration rights of the player Da Cunha Diego for a consideration of € 15.5 million to be paid immediately upon the execution of the contract.
This operation generates a negative economic effect of about € 5.8 million on the 2009/2010 financial year due to the depreciation of the registration rights of the player at 30 June 2010, following the disposal of the player at a price lower than the residual net book value.

Checks On Amauri
Amauri, during the Europa League match played yesterday evening vs. Sturm Graz team, revealed a pain at his rectus muscle of the left thigh. The MRI, he underwent this morning at CTO Hospital in Torino by Professor Faletti, showed a 1st instance lesion. The prognosis is of about 25 days.
Del Piero: "We Were Good At Controlling The Match"
"I’m happy for the goal and for the good match we played. We wanted this qualification and we showed it during all four matches we played". Just like vs. Shamrock Rovere, also on this occasion, vs. Sturm Graz Del Piero hits the target. And he does it by another magic, one of his particular style goals, dribbling the man in the area and placing the ball in the high corner.
The best answer to the many market rumors about Juventus these days: "It was not easy finding the right concentration, considering all that’s happening in this period, but we were good at controlling the match and take it where we wanted. How far can we go? It’s soon to tell, also if we started in the early July. Many things are changing, but we want to give the best we can".
"Each season it’s different and we hope that this one is going to be completely different to the last one. Europa League is a difficult championship, there are high level teams, like Liverpool or Manchester City and it won’t be easy to get to the end".
Juventus.com
Pepe: "During Second Half We Had Fun"
Simone Pepe speaks with satisfaction about the victory vs. Sturm Graz: "We did a good match, it was not easy. During the first half we suffered, but during second half we also had fun".
He’s asked about the two conclusions ended out of the pitch, and Pepe answers that about targeting "having tired legs was quite determinant". Pepe ends up telling how he is living these first months at Juventus: "It was easy for me to get used to it because it’s the chance of a lifetime".

Del Neri: ''Second Half Was Better, We Could Have Scored More"
Four matches and four victories. Del Neri can close the first part of his International adventure in the best way. His Juve easily passed through Europa League preliminaries. The success vs. Sturm Graz had a good result and gave the first joy to all supporters at the Olimpico.
Three days from Championship start, the trainer can be satisfied, also because the team has more margins to improve. "This week it’s been a little different from the others, considering that Sunday we played the Berlusconi and we were a little tired. Today we did better during second half, when we were faster and careful, even if we failed too much under the goal and we could have scored more".
"Anyway I’m happy how we got to score and when we will feel physically better things would be much better. Market? I thought only about this match and I did not speak with management. I’m interested only in who fight to have a place in the team and so giving his own support. Just like Del Piero. Felipe Melo? He’s showing he’s in good conditions. He arrived after the other and he still need to recover his physical strenght, but he’s got all necessary characteristics".

Europa League: Here We Are!
During the first seasonal match at the Olimpico, with more than 18.500 spectators, Del Neri’s team achieves the access to Europa League defeating Sturm Graz, already beaten a week ago with the result of 2-1.
The match goal is by Del Piero, scorer of a marvelous goal at minute 7’ of second half (1-0).
At match start both teams are very careful and till the first quarter there is only a pair of runs down to be underlined, one by Pepe, and the other one by Bukva.
Then the match begins to live: at minute 17’ Amauri in the area passes the ball to Del Piero, anticipated by an opponent, while ten minutes later Szabics makes the pole shatters on Storari right side. The answer by the bianconeri is immediate (28’) again by the couple Amauri-Del Piero: the captain tries to make profit of the kick back by the goalkeeper on a kick by a mate, but he sends on the side.
Once again close to the goal Del Piero at minute 37’: at the end of a beautiful personal action, Alex tries with a kick that hits the pole. A few minutes to the end of first half Del Neri loose Amauri, suffering of a muscular pain, and sends Lanzafame on the pitch.
No variation in the team, at the beginning of second half. The bianconeri are more convinced since the very first minutes and after a high kick by Lanzafame on Pepe’s invitation, the advantage goal arrives (7’): on a long launch by Felipe Melo, Del Piero gets the ball, dribbles an opponent, enters the area and kicks a great right which gets into the goal (1-0).
Then it’s Pepe’s turn, served by Del Piero, to try to beat the opponent goalkeeper, but his kick is deviated in corner (13’), while as minutes later Sturm Graz gets dangerous with Bukva who, served by Kienar in the area, tries to conclude, but De Ceglie saves. At minute 25’ Bonucci, scorer of one of first leg goals, tries with a distant kick, but the ball ends at the bottom. The same does Sissoko (26’), served by Martinez at the end of a personal action, and Pepe (28’ and 33’).
At minute 37’ Del Piero puts the ball in the area, Chiellini goes on the ball, but the opponents’ defense saves the danger. Two minutes later Sissoko put himself under the spot light for a wonderful covering double intervention. In the meantime Felipe Melo, who has been substituted among applauses, leaves the place o Giandonato. During the final phase of the match nothing to be underlined, to the bianconeri the qualification.

This Evening The Debut At The Olimpico (LIVE STREAMS)
Juventus will make its season debut this evening at the Olimpico Stadium in Torino, for the return match of Europa League play-off vs. Sturm Graz.
The bianconeri are starting from the result of 2-1 achieved during the first leg in Austria, thanks to the goals scored by Bonucci in the first half and by Amauri at the end of second half time. An important advantage which will allow Del Neri’s men to go on to the next turn even losing 1-0. Only if Juventus loses by more than two goals, they will be eliminated. By the result of 2-1 in favor of Sturm Graz, there will be extra times and, eventually, penalties. Right to avoid this eventuality Del Neri is asking for maximum concentration and he invites all players to concentrate only on this match, even though the championship debut is right around the corner, scheduled for Sunday in Bari.
Indeed the Austrian on away matches are a formidable opponent, also considering that during the last nine european away matches they only scored on one occasion, on October 22nd 2009, when, in Europa League, they were beaten 1-0 at home by Panathinaikos. In the others eight external matches scored goals have been ten. On the contrary, Sturm Graz is conceding a lot: always considering the last nine matches, he did not take any goal only on August 27th 2009, winning 1-0 vs. the Ukrainians of Metalist Kharkov. In the other eight matches taken goals have been nine.
This evening kick off will be at 8.45 p.m.. Referee will be Mr. William Collum, Scottish, international referee since 2006. The match will be broadcasted live on Mediaset Premium and deferred on Juventus Channel. Live match on Juventus.com.

Amauri: "The Key Is To Be Focused"
As a main character of these first Europe League matches, with 3 goals scored - one signing the success in the first round against Sturm Graz (2-1) - Amauri confirms his good condition and explains how preparing so important matches during the transfer market period:
"The key is to feel good. I’m focused on playing and achieving by best condition. Transfer market issues pertain to the company management, team choices are up to our coach. In my opinion, the key is to be focused on the goal. We have our play identity, I know what I’m asked for by the coach and I try to do my best".
He replies to a question about the difference between Juve in the past season and at present: "The main difference is the mentality which has changed so much. We all went low profile after what we got up last year. We were strong and we went wrong in the season. This year we are strong too, but we don’t want to go wrong, we can’t do it".
His intervention ends speaking about Felipe Melo: "I’ve no doubt about him, he is an important, strong player who last year had a quite particular time, but this year he is really determined to redeem, as he showed in the matches played so far. I’m sure he’ll become a major reference".
Del Neri: "Maximum Concentration"
The press conference at the eve of the second round of Europe League play-offs against Sturm Graz concerns the tansfer market and the rumors spread out during these days, instead of the match itself. Del Neri affirms that these rumors do not bother the team preparation:
"The transfer market will be a topic up to August, 31st. In the meantime, we have played the Berlusconi Trophy and the friendly match in Villar Perosa, thus improving our preparation for this important match which won’t be easy at all".
"Sturm Graz has postponed the Championship match to be ready for playing against us and it will be well trained. We’re leading from the first round, but we have to play with the right concentration. We are going to face a team which is usually well fielded, even scoring a lot during away matches. To be honest, they also concede several goals, but we should be careful to not do it".

Andrea Agnelli And John Elkann At Villar Perosa
Even this year, the friendly match at Villar Perosa was a celebration which saw the participation of Andrea Agnelli and John Elkann together with a great part of the Juventus management.
With the transfer market coming to an end it is hard not to speak of the subject. Andrea Agnelli stressed Marotta’s work: "He gave great results. A few days remain till the end and I am sure he will go on giving the best" while John Elkann commented the signings looking with pleasure at the return in bianconero of "another blonde angel and the presence of many young Italian players who are also part of the national team".

Comments By The Bianconeri From Villar
Known faces and new signings, youths and veterans: for all the players who wear the Juventus jersey, the showcase at Villar Perosa is a unique emotion. The match played at Casa Agnelli has always the taste of a celebration.
However, the match against the Primavera, which even this year showed to be up to the situation, is also the antipasto to the Europa League match on Thursday night against Sturm Graz. The comments of the bianconeri - Legrottaglie, Lanzafame, Sissoko and Motta – are also with reference to the Europa League.
Nicola Legrottaglie: "We are only at the beginning of the season. We must gain great satisfactions but these will only come at the end. We are working hard to make our supporters and the club which is doing so much to build a great team happy. Krasic? We got to know him today. He will score many goals. I joked with Del Neri saying that he resembled me when I joined from Chievo".
Davide Lanzafame: "With Juventus I played in all the youth teams and played twice in the match at Villar Perosa with the Primavera. Today I was on the other side and this is a reason to be proud for me. I am happy with this first part of the season. I am working to be prepared. We are happy with the signing of Krasic and it is normal to have competition. Now we are thinking of Sturm Graz. We will try to make it through to the next round and then dedicate ourselves to the championship".
Momo Sissoko: "It was a good training session prior to the match on Thursday which we have to win. They will come here to play a great match and we will have to play with maximum concentration. If we play fearfully? No. We are professionals but with the supporters close to us it will be easier".
Marco Motta: "I am getting used to playing here. It easier with so many champions in the team. The coach is showing faith in me and giving me a great deal of advice. For the match against Sturm Graz we will have to be careful and close the match after the victory in the first leg. For the season we will have to look at ourselves without underestimating ourselves".
