Bonucci: "Maintaining Concentration"
The day after the victory against Milan at the San Siro, Leonardo Bonucci is already back to work with his team mates in Vinovo. There is not time for rest in fact. Next week two important home matches await the team. The mid-week one against Salzburg (on Thursday at 19:00hrs) and the one on Sunday against Cesena (15:00hrs). The subject of the match against Milan is a welcome one, however:
"It was an important victory that showed the value of the team and the compactness of the group". The start was not easy: "They started off very strongly – confirmed Bonucci – but luckily we managed to adapt quickly and find the right measure. From that moment on we did not undergo great risks. The studs? We were wearing the right ones but the field at the San Siro is a very tricky one and even I slipped".
Such a victory, away against Milan is not only worth 3 points: "We went to the San Siro tow in and we managed. We showed self confidence and that we are a true team, because all those who entered the field were up to the situation and this happens when there is great unity and the champions have faith in their team mates".
"This victory, besides the 3 points is good for the health of the team. Now we must maintain concentration". The team will in fact be playing against Salzburg and Cesena: "We will hav egto be very careful. Concentrating against Milan is easy. We will have to face Salzburg and Cesna with the same spirit".

Del Piero: "No More Records To Beat. I Will Set Myself New Objectives"
After having equalled it two weeks ago against Lecce, Alessandro Del Piero now beat the record held by Boniperti as Juventus top-scorer in the Serie A and did so in the best of circumstances. 179 goals and Milan-Juventus 1-2: an extraordinary victory.
Now all the possible records in the history of Juventus all bear the name of Alessandro Del Piero but he does not want to stop: "There are no more records to beat but I will go on because one needs to set new objectives. All matches are equal but some have a special taste and this one has it. It had been some time since we won at the San Siro and for this reason everybody was happy at the end".
"The victory obtained here in 1994/95? Of course I remember it. At the time we knew we would win the championship. Today’s victory gives us great enthusiasm but as from tomorrow we must think of the next commitments, otherwise we risk ruining everything. There is a great deal to do and we must think of our path»".

Felipe Melo: "We Are All United: Team And Supporters"
In the extraordinary victory at the Meazza, the bianconeri showed one thing above all: a great unity of intent. All together they fought on every ball, helping each other out on every part of the field.
A unity in fact but also in words: this was confirmed by Felipe Melo: "Today on the field, there were not only 11 lions but also those seated on the bench. We fought together, showing we are great friends and not only team mates. We know Inter and Milan still have something more but we are on the right track. We are all united, players and supporters, and we can fight for any objective".

Motta And Pepe: "Everyone Did His Best"
Juventus cancelled five years with one strike and returned to winning at the Meazza dressed as a rossonero. It is an unforgettable moment for everyone, especially for those who joined last summer. Amongst these are Marco Motta and Simone Pepe, who are examples of abnegation for all they did on the field of play. Below are their comments at the end of the match.
Motta: "Those who were on the field tonight gave their utmost. I am happy with my performance. Football is like a rollercoaster. You go up a little and you go down a little and therefore I was always serene. I dialogue with the coach. He has the merit of making everyone feel as participants in the team".
Pepe: "In this past few weeks I made myself available to play as fullback and today this was necessary. I improvised and did well. I tried to help the team. Scudetto? We are only thinking of Salzburg and Cesena".

Del Neri: "We Won With A Fantastic Attitude"
October was a very positive month for Juventus. It began and ended with two great feats at the Meazza – especially the one today – and without defeats. The positive series is now that of 7 matches but after the victory against Milan the awareness of the team’s means has grown further.
At the end of the match, Luigi Del Neri can be completely satisfied with the result but not only: "Today the lads fought and suffered for every ball, managing to play well. We won as a team thanks to a fantastic attitude starting from the strikers that ran and pressed Pirlo as soon as he had the ball. The injuries? We have 9 lives and we showed we do not depend on just one player. We will continue not to limit ourselves, trying to play always with this Juve spirit".

Del Neri: "I Am Hopeful For The Match Against Milan"
October is the month of the Meazza. It began on the 3rd with the draw against Inter and will come to an end tomorrow with the match against Milan. It has been a month during which, not only did JUventus remain unbeaten but showed clear signs of improvement, signs which are expected to be confirmed during the big match against the rossoneri.
Del Neri is first and foremost. The Juventus coach said so during “Filo Diretto”, on Juventus Channel and soon after during the press conference on the eve of the match.
"We undertook a new path and we are conscious of our ability to fight equally against anyone. In Bologna we did not concede anything and had 17 attempts on goal. In the match at the Meazza we want to confirm ourselves. I am hopeful. We must go there convinced of being able to win and that we have important players in the squad who can show they are up to it".
The coach will only know the players he will be able to count on upon departure for Milan. The doubt is linked to the two strong points of the team: Krasic and Amauri.
"Milos did not deserve such a sanction. In the first part of the championship he suffered important fouls and on Sunday he fell but not out of any bad intention. I hope this is taken into consideration. Amauri? We will know before leaving if he will be travelling with us on the coach. In any case, if he is called-up, he will not be in the starting line-up".
"We must show that we are Juve which is not dependent on one player. Changes in formation? I don’t see why. We have assimilated a certain mentality and we will change only if necessary. Martinez and Pepe can solve the problem on the flanks".
After the draw at the Dall’Ara and the victory of Milan in Naples, Juventus must reduce the 5 point margin from the rossoneri. It is an ulterior motive in order to try and obtain a prestigious victory at the Scala del Calcio. Del Neri concluded:
"How to win at the Meazza? With maturity. These matches can be decided by a champion strike. It will be a heartfelt match, a mix of strength, class and application".

Krasic: Suspension Confirmed
No Milan nor Cesena for Milos Krasic. The court of Federal Justice has refused the appeal on urgent procedure presented by Juventus, thus confirming the two days of suspension for the Serbian player. Krasic will therefore miss the match at the San Siro and the next match against the Romagnoli. He will be able to play again in the championship on the 11th championship match which will see the bianconeri playing against Brescia at 20:45hrs on the mid-week match day on Wednesday 10th November.

Agnelli: "An Important Day"
"The team of the club’s management is now complete" President Andrea Agnelli, at the end of the board meeting which was held at the LIngotto in Turin after the shareholders meeting, commented about the nomination of four new members in the board of management:
"Today was an important day because it saw the appointment of Marotta on the board, making him an administrator of the club in all effects with operational duties with regards to sporting affairs. We established an executive committee that sees me as president and which also includes the two souls of the club that is Blanc and Marotta, besides the Exor representatives Sant’ Alabano and Mazzia and the new board member Michele Briamonte who is currently carrying out a great job even in the Lega".
"I am particularly happy of the appointment of Pavel Nedved, because besides representing an important part of the history of Juventus, he holds the sport values which we want to transmit to the team. Nedved will have special duties within a sports and commercial context".
Asked by the journalists with regards to a possible revision of the industrial plan in December, the president stated: "It is perhaps incorrect for a football club to speak of an industrial plan but in any case we want to revise it. We will make anew one, renovating the programme for three and five years of the club".
With regards to the possible request to return the scudetti Agnelli insisted that: "this will depend on the court proceedings which were opened in Naples. If at the end of these the correctness of the club will be shown during the years taken into consideration, then we will be able to move. With regards to the statement made to the Federation, I have the feeling that the dialogue with Rome is a continuous one and that things are moving within a relationship of reciprocated esteem between the clubs and the institutions".
The subject shifted once again to the team’s moment: "I am satisfied – underlined Agnelli. I think a very diligent work has been within the dressing rooms and from July up to now a new air can be sensed, that of a group and a team that is starting to get to know its potential".
Finally a thought about the match against Milan: "It si a match which as always holds a certain amount of fascination and that stimulates the actors on the field and those off it but there are 38 matches and they are all worth 3 points and therefore they all to be considered as scudetto matches".

Marchisio: "The Match Against Milan Is Important"
While awaiting a big crowd at the Scala del Calcio, another smaller crowd gathered. Four days before the match away against Milan, Claudio Marchisio attended an evening in black and white. Together with the Director Genral for Sports Affairs, the midfielder was the guest of honour at the Juventus Club Mottarone in Stresa and received the Castagna D’Oro, an award in its 26th edition and won by all the symbols of the recent history of the club.
The award was greatly appreciated by Claudio, a genuine Juventino: "I had already been here two years ago for the presentation to Camoranesi. Even then it was really exciting and I hoped that one day it would be my turn. I am happy because this shows the improvement that I showed in recent times. I am happy to see so many Juventus supporters present. In recent years, after the Serie B, the feeling with them is different and this can be noted every time there are such events".
It was a different evening to re-charge the batteries in view of the match on Saturday night. The match against Milan is one which all the bianconeri look forward to, not only because of the reputation of the opponents.

"It will be an important match but not a decisive one. They obtained a great victory in Naples and will be charged-up with Robinho clearly improving. However, even we are physically and mentally well. There is hope in the team and we will compete for it. We hoped we could get to it with a better position in the table. Unfortunately in Bologna we dropped two points and therefore we must not miss this train".

Marotta: "We Are Awaiting The Recourse For Krasic But I Am Hopeful About Saturday"
The news of the two day suspension inflicted on Krasic by means of video evidence brought an end to 3 days of discussions and talk. The club immediately presented an recourse and while awaiting the verdict, has acted as a fence around the Serbian player.
To speak again of the matter was Giuseppe Marotta. The Juventus manager was the guest in Stresa of the Juventus Club Mottarone for the presentation to Claudio Marchisio. Here is what he said:
"Technology is useful and can help the referee, however it is important to distinguish. One can either depend on it from the very beginning to the end or else give way to human error. I am in favour of the latter. The referee may make mistakes sometimes in favour and sometimes against and therefore this must be accepted".
President Andrea Agnelli had spoken during the day of “media violence” against Krasic. Marotta spoke on the same lines:
"We didn’t take it well and we did not digest these free for all critics. By means of a an argument of sporting character, Juventus and one of its most important players were badly labeled. This does not only damage Juventus but also the football system that must transmit values which are sane and transparent".
While awaiting the outcome of the recourse, the Director General for Sport Affairs, has begun thinking of the match on Saturday, starting from a fundamental point:
«Krasic is important to us and is in excellent form. If he cannot play, there will be another 11 players on the field who will honour the jersey they are wearing. We know we have players who are capable of handling the situation".

Agnelli: "Media Violence Against Krasic"
"I think that the positive side of this is the work done by Marotta and his collaborators: Juventus is improving and probably we are being feared again": this is what Andrea Agnelli said in response to the comment by Fabio Capello by which he said that in Italy, according to him, whoever simulates is rewarded.
A decision by the sporting authorities on the “Krasic case” is expected this afternoon: "Since Sunday afternoon we made our lawyers aware of the media violence which certain journalists through their judgements based on the ethnicity of the player – observed Agnelli. We are convinced that the behavior of Krasic was that of a correct person, a great champion who preferred the Serie A to the Premier League and therefore a player who should be cared for both on the field and off it".
"We are evaluating the deferral – concluded Agnelli. It wasn’t a penalty but neither was there the need for such media pressure on the player who in similar situations suffers 4 to 5 kicks".

Juventus Prepares Recourse
Following the decision by the sport authorities to suspend Milos Krasic for two days, Juventus is already working by means of its lawyers Michele Briamonte and Luigi Chiappero to present an urgent recourse to the competent authorities. Such a recourse will be deposited tomorrow within the foreseen terms.
This morning, while entering the Lega headquarters, Andrea Agnelli spoke of the incident.

Manninger: "We Found The Right Set-Up"
"We play each match always to catch three points and this can be seen by how we go on the pitch, by our behavior. In Bologna we didn’t make it, but we did not leave two points on the way, because a drawing on an away match, on a difficult pitch, is always worthy".
Alexander Manninger, on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the three soccer fields Juventus gave to District 5 of the City of Turin, speaks about the match in Bologna. The result is not fully satisfying, but the goalkeeper notices the team’s improvements anyway:
"We are not conceding goals from three matches and this is clearly indicating we found the right module. Having an effective defense is extremely important and now, on the back, we are tidy and “clean”".
At the end a thought concerning his reality. In Europa League, vs. Saltsburg, the Austrian player played a very good match: "I’m here to play and in this period gives me the chance to do it, as many matches are taking place. The trainer put trust in me in Europe and I’m happy about this".

On Tuesday Back To Training
After having been away for quite a long time, first in Saltsburg and then to Bologna, mister Del Neri allowed the players to stay at rest this Monday; the team will restart training tomorrow afternoon.
There won’t be midweek engagements so the bianconeri will have four full days to prepare the big match scheduled for Championship’s ninth day. In fact, on Saturday, there will be the challenge vs. Milan at San Siro Stadium. Kick off at 8.45 p.m..

Chiellini: "We Cannot Be Happy With The Result"
For once, not even a clean sheet is enough. The 0-0 against Bologna is a result which does not satisfy the bianconeri, especially due to the many chances created.
Giorgio Chiellini, today’s captain, summarized the morale at the end of the match perfectly: "We cannot be happy. The penalty was not valid? I don’t know but whether it was or not, it would have been better if we scored. We came here to win to make another leap in quality, we tried and did not suffer any dangers".
"We are improving but we have not yet reached the level we would like. Now we must think of Milan. Saturday’s match is one which goes beyond the table. We will play with respect as we did against Inter. We have a week to prepare for it".

Marotta: "Krasic Is A Good Lad. He Did Not Want To Simulate"
The post-match comments of Bologna-Juventus were very much built around the incident which could have broken the deadlock: the penalty awarded the bianconeri on the 35th minute for Krasic fall in the area, which was later missed by Iaquinta.
Judging the episode was also Giuseppe Marotta: "Milos is a good lad and suffers many fouls during each match. Instinctively he tried to avoid contact with Portanova and fell. There was no contact as can be seen from the images. I don’t think it is right to speak of cheating and there should not be any TV evidence".
"After the incident the lad was under shock and did not offer the usual performance and it is also due to this that we did not manage to win. We score very little? Up to a few weeks ago we were told that we were conceding too many goals and now that we are not scoring. Unfortunately Amauri and Iaquinta are not in their top form and this is effecting us too".

Del Neri: "Satisfied With The Team’s Performance"
A draw was not the result that the team wanted on the eve of the match at the Dall’Ara and seeing the way the match went, the 0-0 result cannot but be a disappointment, not only because of the penalty.
Luiggi Del Neri prefers to speak of the positive aspects which were not missing in Bologna. "A victory would have been another step ahead but we must not throw away this draw. I am satisfied with the performance of the team and for not having given Bologna any chances. Unfortunately, we have been conditioned by Amauri’s injury which forced me to make changes".
"Krasic? It is normal that he is not always at the top and it is not true we depend only on him. I don’t know if he was under shock after the penalty incident. He is always tightly marked. He did not do it voluntarily but only to avoid a possible contact".

Del Neri: "Continuity, Commitment And Attention"
Juventus dives back into the championship after the away match in Salzburg and Del Neri wants to see the spirit, which last Sunday allowed the bianconeri to beat Lecce and which even before that play an excellent match against Inter:
"I expect continuity in results, commitment and attention. We will try to show on the field that we have built a certain mentality, even though we know we will be playing against an aggressive team. I hope, even in the future, that there might be no ups and downs but a constant rendition. Bologna is a solid team. I saw them play against Inter and I got an excellent impression. What I expect from Juventus is that we face this match with the right attitude and with the rightful respect for the opponents".
Against the rossoblu, Grugera will be missing due to injury. To substitute him, Del Neri excluded any surprises such as the moving back of Pepe: "First I must try this out and I don’t think I’ll do so during a match unless I do not have any other options. I must see whether he has the right attitude to play as fullback during training. We will see what alternatives there are, even in the Primavera. Camilleri, for example alteady played at important levels, even though he must now recover from injury".
The match of Juventus against Salzburg and even the other matches in the Europa League and Champions League showed difficulties by the Italian teams: "No match is simple but we must wait before passing definite judgements in Europe or the championship. In the cup one plays against teams with different attitudes and sometimes you are made to pay for this. You cannot always field the same formation and therefore you need the capability to take the opportunity by fielding those who played less".
In the championship, Juve seems to have found the right line-up with Marchisio on the left. The fact he has reached the yellow cards limit will not condition Del Neri: "The match against Bologna as it stands now is more important then the one against Milan. At this moment, the team needs protection and having players with certain assets we have opted for this attitude up to now".
"It depends on the type of match: Krasic and Martinez seen in Manchester did not seem bad at all…we do not lack solutions. We score a lot? This is because we have excellent players. There are teams who have an excelleny base to score a good number of goals and other teams with different solutions. I am happy to have them and then perhaps more attention is paid to the goals conceded by Juventus rather then scored".
"I however, tend to see the glass as half full and am happy when we score 4 goals. I still don’t know where we can get yet, though. The “works in progress” are continuing but we must try to improve and remain serene whether things go well or not".

Aquilani: "Results Will Convince Us"
Alberto Aquilani is urging to go. The midfielder could only watch his team mates against Salzburg on TV, but now he is ready to take back the Juventus game into his hands starting from Sunday against Bologna, a match from which Alberto and all at Juve want points and satisfaction:
"We are a new team made up of many players who joined this Summer but the project is being born and the basis to do well exist. It is obvious, however that time and results are needed to give us self-esteem and convince ourselves. Therefore, we must try to find consistency from this point of view".
It only took Aquilani a few matches to become one of the leaders in midfield: "I came her to do well and make a comeback but I try to fly low and I don’t like hearing that I am determinant. Many are and above all it is the unity and the compactness of the team that are determinant".
Another player, who like Alberto is doing really well is Milos Krasic: "To say the truth I didn’t think he was so good. I knew he was good but not that he was devastating. We will hold on tight to him, hoping he will last for as long as possible".
Milos was determinant even against Salzburg, a match which created more difficulties for Juventus then expected: "It is true – continued Aquilani – but in Europe it is harder to play then in Italy. Ours is an important championship but the Champions or the Europa League are more difficult".
With regards to the objectives of the bianconeri for this season, Alberto did not make predictions: "As I said there are many new players in this team, many of whom are young and it would be wrong to speak of the scudetto. This is the year of departure, during which we must honour the name of Juventus without looking at the table. Honestly, I don’t even know in what position we are…We play one match at a time, trying to stay as high up the table for as long as possible, then in Spring, we will start to weigh things ".

First Training Session In Bologna
Having left Salzburg in the morning, Juventus arrived in Bologna at about noon and this afternoon had the first of two training sessions on schedule before the match against the rossoblu on Sunday at the Dall’Ara.
The players who played yesterday against Salzburg, stayed in the hotel where they had an unwinding session in the gym while the rest of the team who were joined by Aquilani, Iaquinta, Quagliarella and Kirev trained on the communal field at Castel Maggiore. Awaiting the team were a thousand enthusiastic fans.
After stretching and an athletic part, the bianconeri, 13 in all, took part in ball control exercises, passing and ball circulation.
A six-a-side mini-match on a reduced field brought the session to and end.
Tomorrow morning, always at Castel Maggiore, the team will have a fine-tuning session on the eve of the match against Bologna.

Second Night In Austria. Bologna As From Tomorrow
With Red Bull Arena having been archived, the stay in Austria is not over yet. Del Neri’s team will spend a second night in Salzburg and will return to Italy tomorrow morning. The team however, will not return to Turin but go straight to Bologna where on Sunday afternoon they will play against the rossoblu in the championship.
The bianconeri will have the two training sessions preceding the match in the Emilia capital.

Krasic: "I Am Happy With The Goal But Not With The Result"
Two minutes: that’s all it took for Milos Krasic to leave his mark on the match against Salzburg. Having come on after the break, the Serbian scored the equalizer with the first ball he touched.
After the hat-trick against Cagliari in the championship, also came the first European joy for Krasic, a joy which cannot be complete: "I am very happy with the goal but sorry that we did not manage to win": these were the words of Milos before leaving the Red Bull Arena.
Juventus.com
Manninger: "We Knew It Would Be Hard"
In Salzburg, his birthplace, Manninger was a prophet in his country. On the eve of the departure he had warned of the possible difficulties at the Red Bull Arena and this came true. Only a miracle by him in the dying seconds saved the bianconeri from returning without any points.
Alex had an excellent match and was only beaten by an incredible goal by Svento at the end of the first half:
"He scored a great goal with a good shot. Distracted by the other striker in front of me? I did not see him and he did not disturb me. I said it would have been hard. They are not going through a good patch in the championship and they did everything to create difficulties for us. The group is till long and we will have the chance to make-up and qualify".

Del Neri: "We Were Better In The Second Half"
Three matches and three points: Juventus still has not found its first victory in the group but the Europa League is still wide open. After the 1-1 at the Red Bull Arena. Lech Poznan is closer and in the matches that remain the hunt for qualification continues.
At the end of the match, Del Neri commented the match against Salzburg: "In the first half, we missed the approach, while they fielded great intensity. In the second half, we did better reacting well to the disadvantage, they slowed down a bit and we had our goal scoring opportunities. With a bit of luck we could have won".
"We cannot field the same team of the championship and we must wait for those who are still not in top form, like Amauri who has just returned from an injury. I am very sorry for Grygera. He was doing well and I hope its nothing serious. Qualification? In this group all are still competing and even Salzburg showed they are up to it".

Del Neri: "The Europa League Is An Important Experience"
Juventus is preparing to face Salzburg four days after the match against Lecce. The matches follow without a break and a bit of turnover is necessary:
"It will not be an ample one because we have a reduced squad – explained Del Neri - Rinaudo, Iaquinta, Aquilani and Quagliarella are at home. We will try to give more room to whom played less, but even if something changes, I think that Del Piero, Sissoko, Motta can be considered as first team players. Krasic? We have Martinez in great condition. I think Milos can take a rest, not because we are snobbing the cup but to recover precious energy. Manninger? He will be in the starting line-up".
Salzburg is not going through a brilliant moment but they must not be underestimated: "We must respect this team which has valuable players and is very physical in defence. We are obliged to dour best but this is a known fact. No team enters the field without the will to achieve the best result."

"The priority is playing like Juventus. The obligation towards ourselves is to try and move on in all the competitions in order to keep the tension high and allow the team to show its value. Playing in Europe is an important experience because it allows us to face realities which are different from ours, besides being a great stimulus".
In the last few matches, Juventus has shown clear signals of improvement: "The intensity and the application fielded by the players allowed the team to improve. We hope it will continue doing so because we have the will and the consciousness of being able to do better".
The forward line will see Del Piero playing alongside Amauri: "He is an important player who must recover on a physical level. He works hard. He is missing the goal but I hope he will soon have this satisfaction. Tomorrow he will play and I hope he does well: adding another name to the list of goal scorers will benefit the team".

Chiellini: "Having Continuity Is Essential"
On the occasion of the presentation of the partnership with Balocco, Giorgio Chiellini spoke about soccer and about yesterday victory against Lecce: "We won in a good way, it’s not a coincidence that when you play well you achieve wide results. If we play always this way, we would be the Juventus Del Neri wants us to be".
But Chiellini says that they have to stay on the ground: "The quality leap is now having continuity. There can be highs and lows, but not for us. We are making an path of important growth, so we must be sit tight and go on like this, already starting from our next two engagements".

It’s a jersey representing the Italian sense of belonging, which is one of the things we care most about.
