Marchisio: "Fiorentina Not Be Underestimated"
Continuity. This is Juventus’ watchword. They want to go on with this positive results sequence started two months ago. After the success vs. Genoa, here is another important challenge. At the Olimpico they’re waiting for Fiorentina.
To speak about the match, and about many other matters, Claudio Marchisio, guest at weekly program Filo Diretto on Juventus Channel. "After the two defeats suffered at the beginning of the Championship, our path improved a lot. We succeeded in achieving important victories at home and away. We are on the right track, we only have to keep on winning such prestigious matches as the ones in Milano and in Genova".
Fiorentina is arriving, a team that makes Claudio think of nice memories. One for all: the first goal in Serie A, scored on January 2008. Here is his opinion on this match: "It won’t be easy. We’ll face a very good team, who had some difficulties, dealing with some heavy absences. We must not underestimate the match".
Among extra weapons this always increasing Juve can use, there is also Marchisio’s adaptability, lined up on the right. "I do not consider myself a wing – Claudio says -, I’m happy with this role. I do what the trainer asks me to during the week. In the end, more than a 4-4-2 pattern, it’s a sort of 4-3-3".

Del Neri: "We Are Going To Face A Healthy Team"
During the eve’s press conference, before the match vs. Fiorentina (Stadio Olimpico Saturday evening at 8.45 p.m.) he speaks about the match but not only; hot matters are the championship, the media which restarted matching Juventus to the word “scudetto”, and some opinions on the team. Here, the main subjects.
Tomorrow match
Fiorentina plays good matches, it’s not only Gilardino, they have good and important players. It’s a young team, able to play a good championship, after their initial difficulties. We’ll face a very healthy team.
On media, they restarted talking about the scudetto.
Juve have always been convinced of playing a high level championship, but the scudetto is a long distance result, and we are now focusing on immediate ones. It’s a word that makes us proud, it does not scare us. We have never hidden we’ll fight till the end, but we keep this thought deep inside.
What is it missing? 60 points. Concerning the group, we are all right, we only have to complete it. Anyway, excluding single elements, the group’s results are encouraging. Only Juventus’ offensive department scored twenty-five goals. You say we do not have a goal scorer, but we have players able to score fifteen goal a season. It’s not inserting a goal scorer that goals multiply.
We wait for Amauri to come back, anyway, who has also been unlucky; we hope he’ll be able to show on the pitch his ability, and how important his contribution is.
Your greatest satisfaction, at the moment.
The defense improvement.
Infirmary is emptying.
We are recovering important players, we are waiting for long-term patients De Ceglie and Martinez, the others are coming back. Anyway we should take into account who is always playing, but I’m happy to recover important players. General organization is strengthened, however.
The meeting with Buffon.
We spoke the other day, we met and everything is going in the best way. He has a customized workout because he does a different work and he is with a group following different timetables.
They say Liverpool would like to take Aquilani back.
I think he showed he can play in Juventus, but I don’t know the agreements between the clubs. I believe that Juve, if they’ll have the chance, will keep him here.
He’s building up his future.
Who went away made history, and Del Piero is still making it. Let’s hope in ten or fifteen years we’ll be able to write our today history. We are doing what Juve used to do in the past, that is choosing young and good players from other teams, like it happened for example with Como and Atalanta, and then make them become World Champions. Making such choices, we’ll end up having a good group, a group with a strong desire to rewrite history. Anyway, we only have to learn from who gave a lot to Juve.
In this championship, compared to last years’, is a favorite team missing?
I think Milan is running fast, the Champioship is uncertain “sundeyly”, because every team plays difficult matches, but Milan, on the last five or six matches, achieved important victories , that projected them deservedly at the top.
Agnelli said Del Neri’s work is outstanding.
This makes me so proud, most of all because these words comes after he saw us work. I’m sure that he refers to all people collaborating with me, and this gives the group great enthusiasm and energy.

Chiellini Renews: "Target: To Win Again"
This evening Giorgio Chiellini signed, in Corso Galileo Ferraris offices, the renewal of the agreement binding him to Juventus till 30th June 2015. Very good news for all supporters and an important sign from both sides for sealing a relationship made to last in time.
The moment of signing has been celebrated in the Sala delle Coppe (Cups Hall) at the presence of Juventus complete management Agnelli, Blanc and Marotta, together with Lawyer Michele Briamonte. "Chiellini is a fundamental player – Giuseppe Marotta stated – representing Juventus present and future".
"The agreement renewal is a sign of his great devotion to this jersey, from our part is the sign of the will to built, from today and for the years to come, a competitive team, composed by great players such as Giorgio".
Chiellini then expressed his satisfaction through his official web site: "I’m so happy for this agreement, binding me to Juventus for the coming years. This is my team, the team in which I want to get great satisfactions and win something important. I thank the Club for the confidence they put in me, proved by the will to continue our relationship".
Giorgio, by this renewal you candidate yourself to be one of Juventus standard bearers, even though you already are one of this team’s pillars. "I’m not yet a standard bearer and I really hope I will in the next years. And to think that when I arrived in Torino, only 20 years old, I did not think about the future and anyway I would not ever imagined all this could have happened…"
Torino, a city which has already adopted you. "It’s my second home, I’m very happy here and I like it a lot. After Winter Olympic Games it has become even more beautiful, and if it had the sea it would be perfect"
Let’s go back to Juve, from now to 2015 what do you expect? "I as well the Club have one target: winning again something important as soon as possible, this year or the next one"
The agreement signed today is innovative compared to the past.
"It’s an agreement much more articulated than the past ones and from one side it takes into account the club’s needs, on the other it gives a deeper sense of responsibility to the players. What matters is that common target is achieving important targets".
Your evaluation regarding this first phase of season? "I’m happy how it started, when a team changes a lot it’s never easy starting in the right way. In the first two months it was necessary taking some time to adapt, now we found our balance, we are having continuity in matter of results, but we still can improve a lot"
A comment on ongoing Championship "It’s more balanced than the last years. Sunday victory was a starting point for us and not an arrival one, and this must give us awareness and confidence in our means"

Primavera, Great Poker On The Derby
Primavera find the best way to be back on the track. On a heavy rainy Saturday, they win 4-1 the derby vs. Torino and give a wonderful 40th birthday to Giovanni Bucaro.
A the Chisola, the bianconeri produce a tough test against a Toro who got to this meeting with a point ahead in the classification. First half is balanced and it ends 1-0 thanks to Margiotta’s thrust at minute 19, but also thanks to a crossbar hit by Franchino and a save by Costantino on Taraschi, on granata’s side.
Bucaro’s team close the matter during second half. Within four minutes. At minute 11 captain Giandonato deflects a left corner to first post and doubles. At minute 15 Buchel takes care of the matter by a great left kick from far, which goes right to the top corner. At 35’ the poker, with Carfora (on the pitch from only a few minutes) served by a great assist by the excellent Giannetti. On the end, a penalty by Pinelli for granata’s consolation goal.
By these three points, Primavera fling themselves again in classification and newly overtake the close cousins, waiting for another big match. Next Saturday they have to pay visit to former Luciano Bruni’s Sampdoria.

Krasic: "We Won A Great Match"
He is back and everybody noticed. Milos Krasic was one of the protagonists in the victory against Genoa and not only because of the splendid goal which brought an end to the match.
The Serbian national is satisfied and this can be seen even from his words after the match: "I am very happy to have returned and scored on the day of my return to the field. All the team played a great match on a difficult field. Now we must continue working and concentrating in order to improve further".
Juventus.com
Felipe Melo: "We Want To Be Protagonists"
After two consecutive draws against Brescia and Roma, Juventus returned to victory against Genoa. It is an important victory just like the one a few weeks ago at the Meazza against Milan. The positive streak continues and the table is becoming even more interesting.
However, it is still early to think of the final objectives. This is what Felipe Melo thinks. He is in fact already thinking of the match against Fiorentina, his former team: "I don’t know if we are of scudetto quality but we want to be protagonists and continue to do well. This victory is good for the morale and makes us believe we are on the right track".
"Now we must think of the next match which will be a difficult one. The midfield? We are doing well. Compared to other teams, we have been playing together for a shorter period. I am satisfied with how I am playing this season. I paid for what happened last year and now I am sure I am a leader like I was in all the other teams I played for".

Aquilani: "A Fundamental Victory"
A draw against “his” Roma and the return to the national team and now the victory at the Ferraris: Alberto Aquilani had an intense but great week. The 2-0 against Genoa saw his geometric touches once again very determinant.
It was another good match which came to an early end. The midfielder himself explained the reason for this at the end of the match:
"I asked to be substituted to avoid further problems. I hope it is only a contracture. Today we registered a fundamental victory. These are 3 points which will be felt further on. In order to stay on track we must win on this sort of fields. I am happy with my present condition, the coach has faith in me, asks precise things of me and I try to execute them".
Juventus.com
Del Neri: "Excellent Match. Well Done Lads!"
Genova brings luck to Luigi Del Neri. In the stadium in which he obtained great results as the Samp coach, the Juventus coach has even more reason to be satisfied as he won his personal derby against Genoa.
It is a fundamental victory obtained in an environment, where as he said himself on the eve of the match, it is very difficult to play: "It wasn’t easy. The lads played an excellent match paying great attention. Krasic? I have faith in his characteristics and I decided to field him after yesterday’s training session. When he is well he is hard to stop and today he proved this again".
"These are three important points that allow us to stay close to the leaders and continue making our point. We watch a match at a time without allowing ourselves to get carried away by easy illusions".

Felipe Melo: "We Keep On Growing"
A few days from the match in Genova, where the bianconeri will play next Sunday at 12.30 a.m., Felipe Melo speaks at Mediaset’s microphones. Here are the main items.
After eleven positive results in a row is Juve thinking big again?
"Juve never stopped thinking big. Anyway, we must keep on working because, even if we are doing better than the last year, something is still missing"
Has mentality changed?
"When I was in Brazil I watched at Juve matches and I noticed that, even though sometime they were not technically superior, they won by their character. Maybe this Juve, in some aspects, looks like that one. We hope we’ll win something, I know it’s difficult, Inter and Milan are still one step ahead, but we are slowly growing"
The change of technical staff and your relationship with the trainer.
"We have changed a lot and well. The staff is greatly experienced, Del Neri is a sincere person who looks you in the eyes"
Concerning great changes, your thought about President Agnelli.
"I like him a lot, he’s always here with us, he gives us strength"
The new bought-up Aquilani, your division’s mate.
"He is technically very good, I like him a lot as a player, but I’d rather speak of the division as a whole, with Marchisio, Sissoko and me. We are all able"

Traoré: "Finally I See The End Of The Tunnel"
His debut with Juventus jersey took place on the second half of the match vs. Roma. The first 45 minutes after a long stop caused by an injury he suffered right on his arrival at Juventus:
"I was not even expecting to go in – he says at Juventus Channel’s microphones – I felt very happy. The first 20/25 minutes went quite well, then I felt very tired, but the most important thing was not having physical problems anymore".
So he passed the test, Traoré is able-bodied and enlisted at all effects, and this can only make him happy: "Fortunately these first months have passed by – he says – because they were not easy at all. Now I’m starting to see the end of the tunnel and I hope it will go on this way".
Traoré speaks about his relationship with his team mates: "I’m happy I’m part of this group. I started taking Italian Language lessons, when I’ll know it a little better everything will be easier". And supporters are part of Juventus’ universe: "Also when I was not playing, but I only came to watch the match from the stands, I noticed with great pleasure that these are very devoted supporters, always giving their support, till the end, and this is so important for those who go on the pitch".
The French defender ends the interview speaking about Juventus, and to the question if we can expect something important from this team he answers: "I hope, because all the players and the staff have great ambitions. I like this a lot, as I like the club’s project, the sports one which included the team reconstruction, as well as the corporate one, by the new stadium construction".

Hard Work In Vinovo
The rain that fell in the past days left place to sunshine and so Juventus had the chance to work with an ideal weather on Vinovo pitches. An intense training session, at the presence of President Agnelli, Marotta, Nedved and Paratici.
The group, still without Aquilani, Bonucci and Quagliarella engaged with the National Team, had first a warm up playing handball, then playing a mini-match with no goalkeepers on reduced pitch. The second part of the session was dedicated to tactics, with Del Neri working with defenders, and Francesco Conti with midfielders and forwards. The groups then kept on trying movements, facing at midfield, before playing the nine vs. nine mini-match.
Wearing green vests Storari, Motta, Sorensen, Traore, Salihamidzic, Sissoko, Lanzafame, Amauri and Libertazzi, while the team with white vests was composed by Costantino, Camilleri, D’Angelo, Chiellini, Pepe, Felipe Melo, Belcastro, Del Piero and Iaquinta.
The family challenge has been quite tough and won by the “reds” with the score of 7-6, achieved thanks to double scores by Sissoko and Lanzafame and to the hat trick by Salihamidzic. More varied the whites’ score sheet, with goals by Del Piero, Belcastro, Ciellini, Melo, Pepe and Iaquinta.
Once the mini-match ended, before going back to changing rooms, the group was engaged in an athletic work-out coordinated by the athletic trainer Roberto De Bellis.
Grosso and Marchisio trained a part from the group, while Krasic went on with his recovering program, followed by Luca Alimonta.

Aquilani: "Thanks Del Neri"
"We are doing well; among our targets the one of being always at the top of the list, but we are a team under construction, and regarding names, there are other teams which are equipped better than us to win the Scudetto".
Alberto Aquilani, from Coverciano training camp, speaks about Juve and about the Championship of Juventus, who has found results continuity and a consolidated way of playing: "If we take names into account, Milan is ahead of us, but right in San Siro vs. the Rossoneri Juve proved that with heart and determination we can do well".
Alberto is already one of Del Neri’s midfielder’s leaders Del Neri and the importance he acquired inside the group is a further boost to keep on doing well with Juventus jersey: "I do not consider Juve as a transition stage. I arrived in hire-purchase, the clubs will have to decide, but I know it will depend also on me. If Juventus will decide to purchase me, I’ll be happy to stay".
Thanks to Juve, Alberto found the Azzurra jersey again: "Since I found continuity in Liverpool my constant thought was the National Team: I succeeded and I thank Mister Del Neri. I came back to Italy to find continuity, Juve was a chance too important to letting go, and then I knew that if I came back and did well I would have had the chance to regain our National Team. I’m not surprised of my return in Azzurro after a few matches of the Championship. I felt fine already during the last matches I played in England".

Juventus Is Back To Work
Juventus has restarted training this afternoon, after two days at rest allowed by Del Neri, to start preparing next Sunday challenge vs. Genoa. Players engaged with the National Team, Aquilani, Bonucci and Quagliarella were absent, while Marchisio came back from the Azzurro training camp to work off a little muscle fatigue.
The team, also in consideration of the heavy rain that fell on Vinovo, had most part of the training session on covered synthetic pitch, to go then on the pitch for a series of athletic tests.

On Tuesday Back To Training
At the end of the challenge vs. Roma on last Saturday evening, mister Del Neri gave Sunday and Monday at rest to the team. So the bianconeri will meet in Vinovo, for an afternoon training session at 3.00 p.m.
The players engaged with the Italian National Team, Aquilani, Bonucci, Marchisio and Quagliarella, will join their team-mates starting from Thursday.
Del Neri will start preparing Championship’s next match vs. Genoa, at Luigi Ferraris Stadium, at 12.30 a.m. and for the bianconeri this will be an absolute “opening” at lunch time.
Del Piero: "A Balanced Championship"
"The one vs. Roma has been a great intensity match, tough, struggled". Alessandro del Piero, from his web site pages - http://www.alessandrodelpiero.com/, goes back to the challenge vs. the giallorossi, a match that Juve deserved to win. But the regret for the faded success is mitigated by the awareness that the Championship is still very open:
"On balance, we had the best occasions – the captain goes on – but we must admit our opponents gave a good performance. A balanced match, like the Championship, which keeps on showing a classification with many teams gathered in few points: everything is still possible".
"Saturday draw comes at the end of a very long period for matches one after the other, with no stop. Now we can rest for a day, and most of all work thinking about only one match a week, for the next fifteen days, excluding the National Team"
Finally a thought for the next match, that Alex defines "Sunday picnic match (regarding time, I mean…) at Marassi vs. Genoa who comes from two victories in a row. Not an easy match".
Juventus.com
Chiellini: "Vs. Genoa A Very Important Match"
"I had 7 stitches in my head but it’s nothing serious, anyway, just quite a cut". Giorgio Chiellini, from his official web site www.giorgiochiellini.com, reassures supporters about his health conditions, after the aerial clash with Vucinic during the challenge vs. Roma, a struggled match, one of those Giorgio likes a lot:
"It has been a very beautiful match, inside the stadium there was a special atmosphere, it has been a very intense match, tough and nervous but fair, passionate, sometime we raised tones, maybe too much, but this is what is good about this kind of matches. In the end I think that everybody got aware they watched or took part to a soccer great show, one of best Juve-Roma of the last years. It has been a pity it was a draw, my opinion is that we deserved a little more, but we have really nothing to complaint about, we all gave what we could!".
The regret for Sunday draw, becomes boost for the next match, which Chiellini is already thinking about: "Sunday we’ll have a very important match in Genova, where we’ll test playing at lunch time for the first time, a real novelty for Italian soccer".

Aquilani’s Back To The National Team
"I must do well in Juventus to regain the National Team". Alberto Aquilani, since when he became a bianconero, each time jounalists asked him about his possible call-up by the Italian National Team, he has always repeated that sentence.
His was a healthy realism, but strengthened by the conviction of having all necessary means to succeed. And he duly did: as a matter of fact Aquilani has been called-up by Cesare Prandelli for Italy’s friendly match vs. Romania, scheduled for next Wednesday in Klagenfurt.
With him also Bonucci, Marchisio and Quagliarella. The four players will join the azzurro group on Monday and on Thursday they will be back to Del Neri. So Juventus will have to do without them for the week’s first two training sessions.
The team will restart working on Tuesday afternoon, to start preparing the challenge vs. Genoa, scheduled for next Sunday at Marassi Stadium at 12.30 a.m.

Iaquinta: "We Played An Excellent Match"
"Having suffered a goal at the end of the first half conditioned us because we were at the very end and returned to the dressing rooms really angry. It’s a pity because we played an excellent match". Vincenzo Iaquinta can only enjoy his splendid goal against Roma up to a certain extent.
The final 1-1 result left a bit of a bitter taste for the bianconeri: "We must learn how to manage ball possession better – continued Vincenzo – but we still had good opportunities to win". Iaquinta had an excellent opportunity at the start of the match but Julio Sergio managed to save. The striker made up a few minutes later with a splendid goal, one driven by instinct:
"In fact if I think too much I make mistakes – joked Vincenzo. In the last few weeks I trained hard on concluding from crosses and this bore its fruit. The championship? We’re there. We must continue to play one match at a time and stay up there as long as possible".
Juventus.com
Bonucci: "We Are Sorry About The Result"
Leonardo Bonucci commented the match against Roma beginning from the disappointment with regards to the missed victory: "Roma could only score from a set piece. They had very few shots on goal while we created many which we did not score. For this reason I think that tonight we missed two points. We are sorry we did not manage to win".
Bonucci complimented young Sorensen ("He showed he is up to it") and the team: "We showed we are a team which knows how to sacrifice itself. We were unlucky with the penalty. After this episode, in the second half, we were really charged-up. In fact we were ready to attack every little space. It’s a pity we did not finalize".
Juventus.com
Marotta: "Many Dubious Episodes. We Demand Equal Judgement"
"We are disappointed because after a more then positive performance, notwithstanding the many injuries, there are many doubts with regards to certain situations". Giuseppe Marotta is visibly displeased at the end of the match against Roma.
The draw does not satisfy the bianconeri seeing how hard they worked on the field and because of certain episodes which conditioned the match such as the penalty awarded the giallorossi: "It was the exact situation like in Milan-Palermo last Wednesday with Boateng who jumped on a free-kick by Miccoli but on that occasion a penalty wasn’t given. We ask for equal judgement because on the field we are obtaining much more then is shown in the table".
With regards to the penalty incident, Marotta insisted that "rule number 18 is that of common sense. I saw the replay dozens of times: Pepe jumped with his back to the ball and the free-kick taken by Totti is spowerful and close. It is enough to know the laws of bio-dynamics to understand that if a player jumps, turning, his arms move automatically. That penalty conditioned the players very much. Even in half-time they spoke about it and I think that if it hadn’t been conceded we would have won the match. If it a compensation for the penalty not given to Mexes? If this were the case it would be even worse".
Apart from the penalty, there are other reasons for regrets: "At the end of the match we were deprived on a free-kick in our favour by Chiellini, one of our best heading players because he had a bandage which was covered in blood…The performance of the referee was greatly unsatisfactory".
There was also a last episode which left the bianconeri perplexed: Borriello who kicked Chiellini with the ball far away: "I prefer not to comment because it has to do with Roma. I ask for equal judgment even on a TV level".
Juventus.com
Del Neri: "We Deserved To Win"
At the end of the match against Roma, Luigi Del Neri complimented the team: "I am very happy with the performance of my players. We created many goal scoring opportunities and conceded very little. We were superior to Roma when it came to opportunities and we were clever enough to keep up with a team great shape".
Del Neri stated he saw "the right spirit and the right will" in his players and with regards to the result said: "a lot will be said about this match but we deserved to win. My team is very strong, does not give up. They held ball possession? We are not competing in a boxing match when one can win by points. We finalized more and for this reason we deserved the three points. This performance gives us energy for the future".

(Juventus - Roma 1-1) Juve And Roma Share The Spoils
Del Neri fielded the usual 4-4-2 formation with youngster Sorensen as rightback and Quagliarella and Iaquinta as attacking duo.

The 14th minute sees a Riise shot going just high over the bar. A Marchisio pass towards Iaquinta is a bit too long for the striker, a few seconds later.
On the 17th minute there is a corner for Roma: Totti puts the ball into the area but the Juve defence manages to clear. Two minutes later, Roma benefit of a free-kick from approximately 25 metres: Totti's attempt is saved into corner. Chiellini clears the attempt from the flag.
It is the 23rd minute when there is a corner for Juventus: the cross into the area is first missed by Quagliarella and then by Iaquinta. Three minutes later, Aquilani puts a ball towards Iaquinta but the striker is off-side.
Chiellini clears a Riise cross on the 27th minute. One minute later, Quagliarella is off-side following another ball by Aquilani.
Juve are piling up the pressure and on the 31st minute Pepe puts a cross into the area, Julio Sergio waves the ball away and from the rebound Melo puts the ball high over the bar. One minute later, A Totti attempt is blocked by the defence.
On the 33rd minute the Juve defence clears twice within seconds as on both occasions a cross from the right is put into the area.
It is the 35th minute when there is great play by Aquilani who puts a through ball into the area. Iaquinta dashes in and with a scissor-kick deposits the ball into the net for the opener: 1-0.
Iaquinta is stopped for off-side after a launch by Quagliarella on the 39th minute and two minutes later a Totti shot goes wide.
On the 44th minute, there is a corner for Roma: ball into the area cleared by the Juve defence. The referee decides on 1 minute of stoppage time and on the 46th minute there is a free-kick for Roma: Totti puts the ball into the area and the referee awards Roma a penalty for a presumed Pepe handsball. Totti scores the penalty and equalizes: 1-1. The first half ends on this score.
Before the start of the second half, Traore comes on for Grosso for his seasonal debut. The second half is less frantic then the first with Juve having the upper hand for most of the time.
On the 2nd minute, Pepe puts a cross into the area but the defence clears. Three minutes later, Iaquinta is caught off-side.
It is the 6th minute when Chiellini clears after Totti and Vucinic exchange the ball and one minute later, a Vucinic attempt goes high over the bar.
Del Piero comes on for Iaquinta on the 9th minute and seconds later a Pepe cross is caught by the keeper.
On the 17th minute, Mexes anticipates Del Piero following an excellent cross by Pepe. Three minutes later, Marchisio receives an excellent ball from Pepe but his attempt goes wide.
Quagliarella is caught off-side on the 21st minute and 6 minutes later Mexes blocks an attempt by the striker.
It is the 31st minute when a left-footed attempt by Pepe goes high over the bar. Amauri comes on for Marchisio seconds later.
The 37th minute sees great play by Melo who puts a ball into the area towards Aquilani but the midfielder's shot is blocked by the defence. Four minutes later, there is good defending by Chiellini on Borriello.
On the 42nd minute there is great play by Juventus: Amauri passes towards Del Piero, who directs the ball towards Quagliarella who with a first timer sees his attempt saved by the keeper.
Two minutes later there is a corner for Roma: the Juve defence clears. The referee awards 4 minutes of stoppage time and on the first of the extra minutes Quagliarella heads towards Del Piero in the area but the captain does not manage to control the ball well.
On the 47th minute, there is a free-kick for Juve from 30 metres: the free-kick results in another one a few metres closer. The defence clears the second set piece and the match comes to an end on a 1-1 score.
The bianconeri played a great match and only a penalty well taken by Totti at the very end of the first half denied them the three points.

Pepe: "Vs. Roma A Cchance To Fling Ourselves Again"
"The one with Roma will be a very difficult match, but we are ready at 100%, also because we are aware this is an important occasion for us to fling ourselves again, after the draw in Brescia and climb the classification. Wednesday match left us with a bitter taste, because even though we did not play so well we could have won".
Simone Pepe, protagonist at Filo Diretto on Juventus Channel, shows all his determination for the challenge vs. Roma, a special match for him who grew up in giallorosso. "Roma is having a positive sequence, but they have weak spots too, like Milan, Inter and all other teams. It will be up to us to find them and capitalize on them at best".
Saturday match will be important also concerning classification, but this aspect, for now, is more interesting to the team’s supporters: "They can dream – Simone underlines – we must stay on the ground instead and think about one match at a time. Of course this will be an important match of the Championship, considering that it’s about the classification’s first six teams. I hope everything is going to be good to us".
He’s asked how he feels playing as a quarterback, a role that, considering the many absences Simone had to cover vs. Milan and Salzburg: "If it’s necessary, I would not have any problem. A definitive transformation? If the trainer is going to ask me I would have to think about it, but there would not be problems anyway. Goodwill can do anything".

Del Neri: "Vs. Roma An Important Match"
Seven consecutive positive results and three home victories in a row. This Juventus wants to go on with their favorable double sequence, and this team is the one facing Roma on one of the three big matches of Championship’s 12th day.
The match vs. Roma has so many meanings, besides the one regarding classification. Among these, also the challenge between former Roma’s trainers Del Neri and Ranieri. Juventus trainer is faithfully waiting for the match: "It’s not true we lost a chance in Brescia. Our target is to keep on improving match by match. The one vs. Roma is important; we face a team able to fight till the end for the Scudetto".
The coming weekend will be very interesting. Not only because it will put an end to a full week – considering Wednesday midweek turn -, but most of all because of what’s on the program. Juventus-Roma starts a two- days’ turn which will include Lazio-Napoli and the derby in Milano. Practically, the classification’s first six teams all together.
"This will be nice to see – Del Neri says -. The Championship has been really balanced so far and nobody showed being stronger than the others. It’s too soon to speak of Scudetto, but we know there are many teams having victory in their DNA. Each point is useful, just like the one we gained in Brescia".
For tomorrow match, Juventus trainer will recover Amauri and Felipe Melo and try to count on what has been the strong point so far: the group. "It’s a fundamental factor for achieving results. The one I have today is a compact group, believing in what they do. This behavior brings positive results". Juventus is going to find a Roma on the rise, able to get to the head-to-head match with only one point from the top. After the match vs. the Milanese, another important test. Del Neri concludes:
"It will be an important match, like the one in Brescia and like the next ones. We’ll face a team who did very well last year and strengthened by Borriello’s arrival. They have decisive players like Totti and Vucinic, but also interesting young boys like Greco. They’ve got anything they need to fight till the end. Ranieri? He did well everywhere he went and he’s doing the same in Roma thanks to his experience".

Training Session In Vinovo
The day after the away match in Brescia, the bianconeri had a morning training session at Juventus Center. The ones who played yesterday evening worked in the gym and, by turns, with the athletic trainer.
The rest of the group worked on the pitch, where they did a series of athletic exercises before playing a mini-match on reduced pitch five vs. five. Amauri, Felipe Melo and Traoré had a complete workout with their team-mates.
On Friday, on the eve of the home match vs. Roma, Del Neri will meet the journalists on the press conference scheduled for 2 p.m. at Juventus Center in Vinovo.

Chiellini: "For A Leap In Quality These Are Matches That Must Be Won"
Juventus continue to extend their positive streak. The tie in Brescia allowed for the seventh consecutive positive result and to remain amongst the top teams thanks to a match day which saw a bit of everything
A point at the Rigamonti could satisfy but not completely, especially when it comes to a gladiator such as Giorgio Chiellini: "Today we played against Brescia who are an excellent team, which is well organized and which has a good attacking potential, but if we want to make a leap in quality a match like this or the one in Bologna must be won".
"The positive side is the positive streak but today we are rather disappointed since with a bit more of attention we could have won. Now we await the match on Saturday against Roma who are going through a great moment and we will start to prepare for it as from tomorrow".

Del Neri: "A Fair Draw. Punished By A Beautiful Diamanti Goal"
From a player who has Diamanti (diamonds) as his surname, a beautiful goal is expected and Juve paid the price to Brescia dropping two points which in the light of the other results could have seen the team climb up to the second place in the table. The 1-1 draw at the Rigamonti is a result which can be appreciated seeing the recent results obtained by the team from Lombardia.
Luigi Del Neri is satisfied at the end of the match: "With a bit more attention and luck we could have won. We conceded a goal from a throw in even though Diamanti scored a beautiful one. The draw is a fair result. Both teams had the opportunities to win".
"We are still 4 points away from the top spot, the championship is wide open and there are continuous changes, but at the moment we must not look at the table but only our improvements. Now we must think of Saturday’s match against Roma. I will not have Motta who will be suspended and I will have to come up with a different solution but I have players who can cover his absence".

This Evening Brescia-Juventus
The midweek turn of Championship’s tenth match takes Juventus to the Rigamonti in Brescia, where the bianconeri find the “rondinelle” again, five years after their last match in Serie A.
Iachini’s team is currently at place 17th in classification with 10 points, coming from three victories, a draw and six defeats, but after the very good start and a foggy period, on Championship’s last match they were able to go free from the challenge vs. Inter at San Siro, bringing home a draw that is maybe too tight for Brescia.
Juventus, for their part, run very fast in Championship, with two victories in the last two matches and six consecutive positive results, which took the bianconeri four points from the leading Lazio.
For this evening challenge Del Neri rediscovers only Chiellini, while Iachini, besides Mareco and Sereni, can count practically on all players, among which also on former Juventus player Jonathan Zebina, 117 presences and a goal with bianconero jersey.
It looks it’s going to be an intense challenge, to be experienced, starting from 8.45 p.m. On Juventus.com all updates in real time with the Live Match.
