"I liked how everybody cooperated with each other on Wednesday night. The lads kept the right distance between compartments; they'd prepared well and played with the right attitude. Perhaps Artmedia are not on a par with us on a technical level, but they're still a good team. After the match it seemed it'd been easy to get a similar result, when in fact only by playing like we did we could've gotten such a good result".
Claudio Ranieri, interviewed by Juventus Channel, went back to the win over Artmedia to point out that the high score and Juventus' great performance came thanks to the commitment and determination of his men. There's no time to enjoy the success in the qualifier, though: the Bianconeri already have to repeat themselves at the Berlusconi Trophy, scheduled for Sunday night against AC Milan at San Siro.
"I don't believe AC Milan are struggling – Ranieri explained - They're missing several players too, but when two big teams meet they always want to do well. It's not a League game, sure, but the determination is always the same, also because these kinds of games bring you up to that level of concentration needed to then face official engagements. We'll go to San Siro to try and win. That's our philosophy and it's in our DNA".
