After giving a decisive help to the Under 21 qualifying for their next stage in October, De Ceglie, Giovinco and Marchisio have made their return to Vinovo, where Juventus trained this morning. Only De Ceglie went on the pitch, to take part in the warm-up, while Giovinco and Marchisio worked in the gym.
The three lads’ performance with Casiraghi’s National Team in the 1-1 draw in Croatia needs to be commended: De Ceglie was his usual tireless self on the wing, Marchisio showed both substance and technical quality, while Giovinco was a real torment for the Croatian defence, also setting up Motta for the Italian goal.
While he waits to have them fully available again, Ranieri trained the rest of the squad, which compared to yesterday featured Zanetti too today. A warm-up with and without the ball, tactical work on set-ups and situations in attack and defence and physical work were the ingredients of today’s session.
