Ranieri: 'We're Lacking Smoothness At The Moment"
Two weeks on, and Claudio Ranieri was again forced to meet the press after a defeat.
Certainly a different one compared to the one at the hands of Palermo, but equally full of regrets for the way Napoli came back from behind.
The Manager explained the period the team is living: "I liked how we played in the first hour; we put pressure on Napoli and scored the goal. Unfortunately both Poulsen and Marchisio had physical problems and I had to strengthen the midfield, taking off Del Piero and putting De Ceglie on".
"But after a few minutes Christian asked me to come off too. We'll analyze the goals we let in to avoid it happening again. We're doing the best we can at the moment, but the fact we're not able to win weighs down on everybody".
"Unfortunately this year we haven't been consistent; we have good spells, but we're not smooth enough. And now Real Madrid; I have two days to prepare the game and most of all to see which injured players I can have back".
