Back To Work Following Victory Against Roma
With a European classic encounter just behind the corner the squad was back to work on Sunday. No rest for the victorious in preparation for the match against Real Madrid on Wednesday at the Bernabeu, valid for the 4th day in Group H of the Champions League.
Those players who took part in the match on Saturday night underwent a session of light training. The other members of the squad took part in the usual training session.
Members of the squad who are still recovering from injuries had a seperate training session.
Dario Knezevic underwent an operation in Arezzo following the knee injury incurred during the match against Bologna. The Juventus medical team said that the Croatian will be away from action for approximately three months. The operation was executed by a team of surgeons led by Professor Giuliano Cerulli. The defender will probably leave the clinic on Tuesday and will hence return to Turin.
Cristiano Zanetti is now officially full recovered and participated regularly in the squad’s training session.
Zdenek Grygera who suffered charley horse during the match against Roma will be examined tomorrow however his condition does not seem to be worrying and it is probable that the defender will be available for the match against Real Madrid.
Christian Poulsen and Jonathan Zebina are still recovering and underwent a seperate training session from the rest of the squad.
Hasan Salihamidzic trained separately but should be available for the next match.
Marchisio was back on the field also in a separate session and should be back in action in approximately 15 days.
