Mixed Feelings For Juve Internationals
To begin with Italy of whom Chiellini, Legrottaglie, Camoranesi and Iaquinta were part drew away to Greece in a match which saw the azzurri play rather well and notwithstanding the result showed some great play, creating a number of occasions. It was Greece who went ahead on the 50th minute with Toni equalizing for Italy 4 minutes later.
Grygera will be smiling as his Czech republic won 3-0 away to San Marino in a match valid for Group 3 of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers. The Czechs are now occupying second place in a very tight group and are still with a chance to qualify.
Same result for Ekdal’s Under 21 Swedish side against who beat Holland by 3-0, dominating the match and showing some great game-play.
On the other hand Giovinco and De Ceglie were back to Ranieri’s orders on Wednesday following the 1-0 defeat away to Germany the day before.
However, the bianconero to be disappointed most will definitely be Tiago who saw his side, Portugal, lose 6-2 to Brazil in a match played in South America. After the Portuguese went ahead 4 minutes into the game thanks to Danny it was a literal Luis Fabiano ( hat-trick) show that handed them a heavy defeat.
