Three days ago, by means of an interview during Filo Diretto on Juventus Channel, Sebastian Giovinco had said that he hoped that one day he would be the captain. In Lecce he was. Even though he did not have the skipper’s band round his arm he managed to imitate Del Piero excellently scoring from a magnificent free-kick.
The comparison at the end of the match was obvious: "I have only to learn from Del Piero and all my other team-mates. Today I had the occasion and I am happy to have scored and for the victory obtained by Juventus. We knew it would be a difficult match even when one considers all our injured players".
