20 Called Up For Match Against Lazio. Buffon Feverish: Misses Match. Tiago Recovers
Following the fine-tuning session carried out in Vinovo, Claudio Ranieri has announced the names of the 20 players called-up for the match away to Lazio.
A last minute bit of news has upset the plans of the coach: Gigi Buffon is suffering from a high fever and hence will not be part of the group. To replace him Ranieri called up young Pinsoglio who, after having played with the Primavera in Livorno will travel to Rome.
Apart from Buffon another name on the list of unavailable players is that of Vincenzo Iaquinta. The attacker has not recovered from the muscle problem suffered during the match against Monaco on the 6th of January in Turin together with Camoranesi and Chiellini. The list also includes Trezeguet, Knezevic, Salihamidzic and Zebina as well as the suspended Grygera.
Good news however with regards to Tiago who has been called-up for the first time after the injury suffered in November away to Inter. Ariaudo and Esposito, who played during the Coppa Italia match against Catania on Wednesday have also been called-up.
