Sunday Morning Session In View Of Udinese
The team was back to work on Sunday morning in preparation for the away match against Udinese on Sunday.
On Sunday morning the bianconeri were able to wake up knowing that they are joint-leaders of the Serie A, at least temporarily. Notwithstanding this, however, the boys were back to work in Vinovo in view of Wednesday’s Serie A match away to Udinese. The session also served as a good occasion to obtain a report of the injuries by the medical staff led by Dr Riccardo Agricola.
The match against Fiorentina had a positive outcome even with regards to injuries since no player suffered anything. The players who were part of the triumphant march against Fiorentina underwent the usual unwinding session with some working on the field and others in the gym.
The following is the current situation of those players who were unavailable for Saturday’s match:
Giorgio Chiellini: after the positive result from the test held on Friday in Perugia (carried out at the first possible occasion to have a reliable bio-mechanical check-up) returned to training normally. If the positive results obtained in the last two days are confirmed the defender will be once again available.
Mauro German Camoranesi: had a good session on the field. He should be available by the end of the week.
Alexander Manninger: will not be back in Vinovo before Tuesday due to bronchitis. The goalkeeper continued his physiotherapy sessions following a blow to the left knee suffered during the match against Lazio from home.
Tiago: after having overcome the fever he suffered from in the past few days he returned to working on the field in search of his top condition.
Jonathan Zebina: worked in the gym as per schedule.
