Back To Work On Tuesday Without Internationals
After the match against Catania, Claudio Ranieri has granted the team a day of rest on Monday. The team will be back to work on Tuesday afternoon (15:00hrs) without the international players to begin preparing the home match against Sampdoria on Sunday afternoon.
Many are the players who have been called-up for the Wednesday dedicated to international matches. Italy will be playing a friendly match against Brazil in London and has amongst the call-ups Buffon, Legrottaglie, Camoranesi and Iaquinta. The Under 21 can count on Giovinco, Marchisio who did not playa against Catania due to muscular problems is in doubt. The azzurrini will play against Albin Ekdal’s Sweden in Trieste.
Amongst the foreign players Austria vs Sweden will see Manninger and Mellberg as protagonists, Poulsen will play with Denmark against Greece, Grygera with the Czech Republic away to Morocco while Tiago will be in the Portuguese team against Finland.
