Coppa Italia Primavera, Here Comes Cagliari
Maddaloni’s primavera has got back on track in the championship and with the victory against Torino in the derby last Sunday has increased its margin on Empoli who are second in the table and four points behind with a game in hand.
The next match in the championship that is the match against Piacenza make guarantee the bianconeri the sole-leadership of Group A before the break due to the Viareggio Tournament which will start on the 9th of February.
However, before all this the team must concentrate on the Coppa Italia. Tomorrow at the Chisola the boys will meet Cagliari in a match valid for the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia. The first leg was a black and white monologue with the goal scored by Immobile and the two by Yago and which was only slightly ruined by the sardi’s consolation goal.
The 3-1 end result however, gives Maddaloni’s boys enough peace of mind with regards to the qualification to the semi-final where they will meet either Palermo or Roma whose encounter ended in a goalless tie in Siciliy in the first leg. Atalanta-Milan and Inter-Genoa make up the rest of the quarter-final matches.
