Mellberg: "We Must Win In Rome"
"Against Roma, on Saturday night we cannot afford false steps even though we will be playing against a very strong team and the match will be difficult. It is probable that Inter will be Reggina at home and we have to do the same to maintain the same point margin".
Olof Mellberg is already immersed in the match against Roma. The Swede has no doubts: the next championship match is crucial for the bianconeri’s title ambitions and to sustain them the team must return with three points notwithstanding the injured players:
"Even Roma will have many missing players but the absentees will not determine the outcome of the match on any of the two sides. We, for instance, in October, November and December had many injured players and we still managed to win nearly all the matches. We will have to do the same".
The reason to be positive exist. Juventus reacted to the elimination in the Champions League with a good victory against Bologna, the attack returned to scoring and the defence showed solidity notwithstanding the goal conceded in the first half:
"It is true. We conceded a goal which reminds us of others conceded in the past but one must also say that apart from that episode we conceded very little. Even in the previous matches against Torino, Napoli and even Chelsea we were very careful in defence and I think this is a point that should be stressed".
