The primavera knows no rest. After having won the Viareggio Cup and ended their adventure in Coppa Italia, Maddaloni’s team has only the championship to think of.
The bianconeri continue to lead the table of Group A and are now awaiting another very difficult match, tomorrow the 21st of March.
The bianconeri will play away to Empoli. The team from Tuscany is one of the candidates to the play-offs and in the first round (played in January after having been postponed) managed to beat the bianconeri. In the past weeks, however, the team has had a decrease in results. After Viareggio (in which they were eliminated in the first stage) the team only managed to obtain 2 draws and 2 defeats the last of which on Wednesday against Parma.
The group will go to Empoli after having received the good news about the call-up of Ariaudo and Immobile to Casiraghi’s experimental Under 21 national team. The team will be missing the injured Ekdal, suspended players Esposito and Daud as wellas Castigli and Nocchi who have been called up to the first team.
