Maddaloni’s boys will continue with the championship after the defeat against Genoa and will do this at the Chisola of Vinovo after more then two months. This time the opponents are Modena, a team currently at the end of the table but which created quite a few problems for the bianconeri in the first round.
Juventus will have to do without Maddaloni who has been disqualified for two matches and will be replaced by Dodo Sormani who will be sitting on the bench for the second time after he substituted Chiarenza during the derby last season.
Simone Esposito will miss three matches while Daud will be out for two matches following his sending-off.
There are three encounters which will be of interest to Juventus this weekend: Bologna hosts Empoli who are in the fifth place and the next opponents of the bianconeri, Sampdoria will be playing against Piacenza who are out of the race while Siena meet Torino at home.
The most interesting match on the seventh match day is that of Group C to be played on Sunday 15th March and which will see the derby between Lazio and Roma. The outcome of the match could be relevant to Juventus in view of the return match of the Coppa Italia semi-final against the giallorossi on schedule for Wednesday 18th in Vinovo.
