Sissoko, Post-Operation Test Satisfactory
Yesterday it was Juventus, today Inter and Roma. All three big teams are thinking of the shattered dream. The European score for Italian teams is definitely negative leaving no representative in the Champions League as from the quarter-finals.
Full-house for the England with all four teams through to the next stage three of which at the expense of Italian teams and the other of Real Madrid. It is time to turn the page and the championship is know more fascinating then ever.
Juventus will be the first to return on the field against Bologna who are having to deal with a number of injuries. The same can be said for the bianconeri who today saw the post-operation test on Sissoko.
The recovery is progressing as expected. Camoranesi and Legrottaglie worked separately from the group with the defender using a knee protection. Zanetti and De Ceglie are improving from the athletic aspect under the attention of Scanavino while Nedved and Marchionni worked in the gym.
All the others worked on the field under the keen eyes of Ranieri and Secco who followed part of the training session from the bench. Warm-up and general exercises before ball circulation on a reduced field to improve the pressing and the defensive phase. Iago served as a joker in an 8-a-side match. Del Piero,Trezeguet Giovinco and Marchisio together on one side with Chiellini, Salihamidzic, Zebina and Ariaudo on the other.
