Primavera, Last Effort
It’s time for the last direct encounter for Maddaloni’s team. On Saturday afternoon at the Chisola the Primavera will host Siena. A draw would be enough for the bianconeri to win the group a match day before the end.
The objective – even though temporary – is a step away. After having won the Viareggio Cup, the Primavera can add another jewel to its season collection: the victory in Group A. With 180 minutes to go, Maddaloni’s team leads with 5 points ahead of Sampdoria and 6 ahead of Empoli and Siena.
On Saturday afternoon (at 15:00hrs) at the Chisola, the team will meet Siena. It will be the right occasion to end all speculations with a day ahead. By winning the team would have made it and even a draw would have the same taste whilst awaiting the last match on the following week against Sassuolo.
The match against Siena, one of the protagonists of the season, this will be the third encounter this year. At the moment the balance is at a tie: a victory for the Tuscans in the championship and one for Juventus during the Viareggio Cup.
