The match against Milan saw Marco Marchionni and Mauro Camoranesi both in the starting line-up with great results. The midfielder also went close to scoring and was unlucky on the occasion to fins a very careful Flamini:
" I think we played a great game against Milan who recently have been doing well. After what we went through, a difficult time to say the least, we needed a good performance to lift our morale and so this match has helped us in that sense. About the near miss with the intervention by Flamini: Well it was one of the few times that I managed to conclude and I wish it turned out better".
