Ferrara: "We Worked Well In Pinzolo"
Ciro Ferrara’s first summer training camp is coming to an end. With the friendly on Tuesday night against Vicenza in Trento, the period in Val Rendena comes to a close and like in the past three years, even that in the summer of 2009 was very positive. It was in fact even warmer in affection shown by the supporters then in previous years.
The Juventus coach cannot help but be happy with the atmosphere but it is another aspect that interests him mostly:
"I am happy with the work done in these days, carried out with the best of spirits and the right intensity. Even the international players are following their programme but the work does not end hear and will continue elsewhere. I hadn’t felt he sensations experienced here, with all the supporters, for quite some time, since I interpreted a different role. It was surely a great atmosphere".
Against Vicenza, the team will be playing their second match in 48 hours, the third in less then a week. With Diego and Sissoko absent, there will be the opportunity of seeing some of the internationals on the field. It will be a good test to draw certain indications in view of the departure to Andalucia where Juventus will play in the Peace Cup.
"In Spain we will find a warmer climate to which we will have to adapt, especially since we will be having one early morning session only. Diego’s and Sissoko’s conditions are not worrying and they will leave with us just like Felipe Melo, Legrottaglie and Giovinco".
While encountering opponents of international stature, the team will begin to realize its real potential. Independently of the name, Ferrara already knows what he wants from his team:
"Juve must not lose. This is our philosophy and it must be clear to all especially to ourselves, always, however, with humility and awareness and by avoiding proclamations which only please journalists and supporters. What interests us is the field".
"Inter without Ibrahimovic? It remains a great team, convinced of its own strength derived of many victories. Even Juve, in the past, was capable of winning after losing certain players".
