First Test Is Satisfactory (Juventus - Cisco Roma 4-1)
In a sold-out stadium full of Juventus fans, the bianconeri played a good seasonal first to the joy of all those present.
The bianconeri had a fiery start: on the 8th minute Trezeguet headed over the keeper and into the back of the net after an excellent cross by Zebina. The French connection were the artifices behind the first goal for Juventus in 2009/10. Two minutes later Ambrosi performs a super-save to deny Amauri from heading home. The Cisco keeper seems to have an open account with the Brazilian when another of his miracles once again denies Amauri punching into corner after a great shot.
Fatigue started to show for the bianconeri after the first 20 minutes and on the 25th minute Franchini beat Manninger to make the score 1-1. Six minutes later however a golden opportunity is missed by Del Piero who saw the ball go high over the bar from an inviting position.
The second half saw all eleven players being substituted with the first two to come on being Bamba and Chimenti for Zebina and Manninger as from the start. On the 51st minute Juve demanded a penalty after a Cisco player handed the ball in the area. One minute later a Del Piero free-kick goes high over the bar.
On the 64th minute Zanetti made it 2-1 with a great shot after receiving from Trezeguet. Two minutes later a Daud freekick is saved by the keeper with the ball reaching Immobile who puts the ball into the center of the area where there is Amauri who with an aerial scissor-kick scores a beautiful goal making the score 3-1.
The 84th minute saw a beautiful Esposito cross reaching immobile who puts the ball at the back of the net for the final 4-1. Four minutes from the end great triangulization by Daud and Esposito with the latter seeing his shot being saved by the keeper.
The second half also saw the entrance on the field of Daud, Immobile, Marrone, Esposito, Alcibiade, Molinaro, Mirarchi and Serino. Brazzo was the last player to be substitued playing for 85 minutes.
