Primavera, The Era Of Luciano Bruni Begins
The young bianconeri began their training camp in Chiusa Pesio. The team has changed very little in comparison to last season. The first match is on the 1st of August against West Auckland.
As from today the youth sector makes its new steps for the 2009/10 season. It is, as always, the Primavera to kick-off with the start of the training camp in Chiusa Pesio.
A new year begins and with it two new eras at Juventus. With that of Ciro Ferrara having come to an end with his move from the youth sector to the senior squad, the command of the nursery has been handed over to Renzo Castagnini and Gianluca Pessotto. Another new face is that of the coach. With Massimiliano Maddaloni following his friend Ferrara, it is Luciano Bruni to take the reins.
The young bianconeri began their adventure in the morning by meeting in Vinovo before leaving for the Valle Cunese. The group is still incomplete due to the absences of Rossi, operated to his ankle in June but who should return tomorrow as well as Marrone and Immobile who are with the first team for the Peace Cup, and Yago who is still busy with the Spanish Under 18 team.
Those born in 1989 have left the team that won the Viareggio Cup. Castiglia will be playing for Cesena in the Serie B, D’Elia and Duravia have accompanied two other former mates D’Antoni and Cosentini – to take part in the adventure with Figline Valdrano who have just been promoted to the Lega Pro First Division. From those born in 1990 Curcio, Mirarchi and Gerbaudo have left temporarily.
The Primavera will remain in Chiusa Pesio until the 11th August, the day which will see the match in Villar Perosa against the senior squad. The first match is scheduled ofr Saturday 1st August when in Chiusa Pesio the team will play an international friendly against West Auckland.
