Lippi: "Ferrara Can Do Well"
"Ferrara has the wisdom and the intelligence to do well". This was stated by Marcello Lippi, a person who knows the Juventus coach well. The coach of the Italian national team was Ferrara’s coach for a long time. Later he called him up to the national team, first as technical assistant during the German world cup, and then as deputy coach. Now that Ferrara is coaching Juventus, Lippi has no doubts:
"Ciro knows how to bring out the best of the people he works with – explained Lippi during an interview on Sky Sport -. He is alert, wise and even when he played he was admired and respected by all his mates".
"When I coached Juventus, at times, I used to ask Ferrara and Montero to train the defence and everybody listened to them with all respect, while I trained the midfielders and the attackers".
"Scudetto? Why not? It would however be a victory for all at Juventus, not only for Ferrara. Ciro has a great club and a great team at his disposal and he can win".
