Peace Cup Mission Comes To An End
The “Peace Cup” mission is truly over. A few hours after the match against Aston Villa, which ended in a defeat following a penalty shoot-out, all the Juve contingent returned home.
At about 10:00hrs the team took off from Valencia and landed at the Turin Caselle Airport just before noon. Thus the team will now have two full days of rest granted by Ciro Ferrara, a well deserved reward after the excellent work in Andalusia.
The team will get back to work in Vinovo on Wednesday afternoon where they will have the first out of three sessions (two sessions on Thursday). On Friday night, the team will play a friendly match at the Arechi Stadium in Salerno against Spanish side Villareal. This will be another test in order to verify the team’s condition just over two weeks from the start of the Serie A championship.
