Blanc: "The Championship Is Still Long"
"Seven points from Inter are significant but the championship is long. For a team with important objectives it is important not to let the opponents gain too many points in advantage". Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc, who was at the Lega headquarters for an extraordinary meeting of the Serie A teams, confirmed Juventus’ ambitions, ambitions that start from the match on Saturday night against Atalanta:
"We must find consistency and therefore the match in Bergamo will be important. I am optimistic seeing the work we have done and that we are continuing to do on all levels. We wil continue to work. The championship is long and then we’ll wait and see".
Juventus will be facing Antonio Conte who according to the media was close to being the Juventus coach before the signing of Ferrara: "They are both young coaches and Juventus supporters – commented Blanc – and it will be a beautiful challenge even under this aspect".
