Ferrara: "I Am Happy And Very Satisfied With Tonight’s Match"
Ciro Ferrara has a good and more then valid reason to be satisfied after the victory against Atalanta and the 5 goals scored following a great match by his team: "I am happy and very satisfied with tonight’s match and the merit of this is of the lads who interpreted the match well even when we were under pressure. We kept on scoring and this is a good sign".
"You could tell the team fielded the right mentality and that physically the players were in great condition notwithstanding the energy spent against Maccabi on Tuesday. Tonight is a beautiful evening especially for David".
The coach is convinced of the strength of the team notwithstanding the many absences: "The boys are strong and this is what they must believe. We will not be looking at what Inter does at the moment but we must pay attention to our performances. We will think of the table at the end of the season".
"In the last 5 matches we won 4 and lost 1 in a very strange way against Napoli and therefore I think we are going through a good time. Obviously the fact that I have a lot of unavailable players forces me to field the same players, however I am really happy with the effort the players are putting in".
Ferrara therefore beat Conte: "The relationship with Antonio goes beyond tonight’s match. I am happy Juve won and not that I beat Conte".
