Ferrara: "The Morale Is Good"
It was a week of work without the international players busy with their respective national teams for Ciro Ferrara’s Juventus, who after the break will be hosting Udinese at the Olimpico on Sunday night. The bianconeri trained for the whole week carrying out "mostly shooting exercises and one-on-one football with intervals of physical work – explained Ferrara. Obviously, since we were only a few, we worked on tactics".
Many players are on the road to recovery. Amongst these is Marchisio, who during a recent interview said he would like to return on Sunday. With regards to this, Ferrara affirmed that:
"The next week will be very important both for him and for Sissoko because both have worked with the team but not at full rhythm and therefore it will be fundamental to see what they will manage to do in the days before the match against Udinese".
In view of the return of the championship it comes rather automatically to ask the coach what he thinks of the team’s morale:
"The morale is good – stated Ferrara – at least that of the players who worked with me. I hope the same will apply to the internationals when they return so as to be able to delve into the championship and get back into the rhythm and the right attention in order to face the next matches".
