Marchisio: "We Are Not Managing To Create Enough"

Claudio Marchisio was back in the starting line-up after his operation to the meniscus. Even though he did his best in the conditions presented by the match he is however conscious of the bad moment:

"The only positive note is that I played quite well, however it was a bad day for the team. We knew we would be playing against a good team which is playing great football and which has a good coach. We must now work hard because on Saturday we have an important match. It is a bad moment".

"We are not managing to create enough. In the dressing rooms we are determined and we want to do well but for some reason we are not managing to do this. Cagliari is a good team and are doing very well. However, we must put all this behind us and see what we can do to improve because we have a very important week coming up".

The match was conditioned by a certain attitude and the pressure exerted by the sardi: "We mistook even the way we were running. We run a lot but in the wrong manner. We are not managing to win back the balls. We have recovered a number of important players and so it is not a case of fatigue. We simply have to work very hard".

"We are not tranquil, we do not manage to impose our play and therefore even mistaken passes are a result of this. We are in a period in which we cannot afford to make more mistakes, otherwise we risk losing everything like last year. Tomorrow I will watch the match again to try and see what we have been doing wrong".
