Bayern Show, Juventus Out Of The Champions League
It is a very important match for both teams and this can be felt right from Bayern’s kick-off. On the second minute, there is a good ball into the area but the Bayern defence manages to clear. One minute later, ball into the area by Trezeguet collected by the defence.
It is the 4th minute when Bayern try an attempt at goal but the ball goes high over the bar. Three minutes later, there is a free-kick for Juve: Diego puts the ball into the area but it is cleared by the defence. On the 8th minute, Trezeguet is stopped for off-side as he enters the area.
Scary 11th minute as Buffon first saves from a free-kick punching away and then the super-keeper puts the ball into corner after an Olic shot hits the post. Three minutes later a Caceres cross into the area goes wide

Del Piero leaves the field for Poulsen before the start of the second half. The second half starts with Juve on the attack. On the 2nd minute there is great team work by Juve as they put a good ball into the area following good construction of play but the ball is cleared. Buffon with an easy save as a ball is put into the area on the 3rd minute.
It is the 5th minute when a Pranjic shot goes wide and Busacca awards a corner. From the flag the ball is cleared but is then collected by Bayern who pass to Oilc who beats Buffon for the 1-2.

The 23rd minute sees a corner for Bayern: Van Buyten puts the ball well wide. Two minutes later, there is a free-kick for Juve from outside the area: Grosso puts the ball high over the bar. On the 28th minute, there is a corner for Bayern: ball cleared by the Juve defence.
It is the 29th minute when a corner for Juve is cleared by the defence. Two minutes later, a Marchisio shot from outside the area is deviated by the defence. On the 32nd minute, a dangerous ball in the Juve area is cleared by the defence.
On the 34th minute, Giovinco comes on for Felipe Melo. Three minutes later, there is a corner for Bayern: ball into the area and Gomez puts it behind Buffon for the 1-3.
On the 38th minute a free-kick for Bayern sees the ball go well high over the bar. Six minutes later, Juve are denied a free-kick on Giovinco as he is grounded outside the area. The cherry on the cake for Bayern comes on the 2nd minute of stoppage times as Tymoschuk makes it 4-1with a powerful strike from a distance.
Juventus are eliminated from the Champions League and as third placed in Group A will now be competing in the Europa League.
