Ciro Ferrara is highly satisfied for the victory against Inter, because the bianconeri wanted to beat the nerazzurri badly and so it was. There is however hardly any time to celebrate, because the decisive match for qualification to the next round of the Champions League is behind the corner. Ferrara noted this immediately:
'We are very happy and satisfied. It is a well-deserved victory but now we must think of Tuesday".
Besides the result, Ferrara is satisfied with how his men worked during the week: "I was tranquil because I saw the team well charged-up and motivated. After all, you hardly need to prepare such matches. However, he added, we must prepare in the same way even for the other matches, not only the big ones".
They made him note the excellent performance by Marchisio in the second half. When he was asked if the lad can become big-headed, with all these compliments, Ferrara replied:
"It will not happen because he is a well-balanced lad, serious and a hard worker. He played a great match. Let us say that with the goal he redeemed himself for not having managed to win the ball from Eto’o on the occasion of their goal".
Finally a beautiful surprise, Caceres: "I am happy – concluded Ferrara – that after a settling in period, now he is showing his strength and personality. He is a player that never gives up and I like this".
