Ferrara: "The Match Changed Between The First And Second Half"
Ferrara is visibly disheartened after the elimination from the Coppa Italia, however he has no words of blame for the team but rather feels sorry for the way a number of episodes led to another defeat.
"In the second half Inter pushed harder but we defended well. The match changed between the first and second half. We played well and showed determination but we lost again. A number of episodes which did not convince me conditioned the match. Perhaps, we must learn to protest a bit more because being good boys does not always pay off".
"The boys played well and did not deserve to lose. I asked the boys to field a never say die attitude and even though we are sad because we were eliminated from another competition I have nothing to blame the team for".
Tomorrow will surely be another day of speculation with regards to the coaching post: "Whoever does this job can make mistakes and we are subject to criticism. Tomorrow I will be regularly in Vinovo unless there are any indications tonight".
