Grygera: "We Must Believe"
After a week of forced rest due to the suspension which made him miss the match against Livorno, Zdenek Grygera is once again available for Alberto Zaccheroni. It is the right time, on the eve of two matches which are special to him.
Against Genoa, the Czech national scored 2 of the 3 goals for Juventus and Ajax against whom Juventus will make their debut in the Europa League is the team for which he played before moving to Turin in 2007. Grygera spoke of these tow fixtures and of the moment of the team during an interview on Juventus Channel.
"It is difficult to understand where the problems lie – said Grygera. The period we are going through is not a good one. We are paying for this situation and we are not happy. We must believe and work hard to change the route and re-emerge. Our objective is that of winning a place for the next Champions League and to win we must return to victory".
The novelty of the last period of time is Alberto Zaccheroni. The Czech national spoke of the first days with the new coach:
"We are working a lot on the field with Zaccheroni, paying a lot of attention to the tactical aspect. We are working on movements both as individual players and as a team. In Holland we never worked in such a way on tactics. His is a typical Italian approach to football. Whether he is different from Ferrara? He is different from many coaches I had before".
In order to see the first fruits of Zaccheroni’s work, Juventus is called to play two important matches. First on the list is the championship match at the Olimpico against Genoa, then the one in the Europa League against Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena. Grygera is preparing for the two matches in this manner:
"Against Genoa it is always a difficult match but after two consecutive draws it is time for a victory. I am happy to return to Amsterdam. Since I’ve been in Turin, I never had the chance to play in Holland. I hope it will be a lucky return and that the match goes well for us".
