Juve Always Leaders In Azzurro
The coach may have changed from Marcello Lippi to Cesare Prandelli but the number of Juventus players called-up by Italy has not: 6 left for the World Cup in South Africa and 6 will be part of the expedition to London for the friendly match against Ivory Coast on Tuesday at Upton Park.
Some, names have changed, however: together with confirmed Chiellini and Marchisio on Sunday in Coverciano there will also be Bonucci and Pepe, who were at the World Cup but who were not yet bianconeri as well as new entries Motta and Amauri.
Juventus is thus once again the club most represented in the Italian national team. It is followed by Cagliari and Sampdoria with 3, Milan and Palermo with 2 and Bologna, Fiorentina, Inter, Napoli, Roma, Stuttgart and Villareal with 1 each.
Upon the return to training, Del Neri will thus have a reduced squad and will only be able to work with the full team as from midweek. Juventus will return to training on Sunday at 16:30hrs in Vinovo. The next appointment is the Trofeo TIM on Friday night at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari.
