Krasic, Technique And Speed At Del Neri’s Court
International experience, technique and speed are Milos Krasic’s skills. Juventus’ side compartment is now rich in further quality due to the arrival of this Serbian midfielder/winger showing a marked offensive inclination.
His arrival in Juventus’ colours was almost fated to happen, as Milos was born on November 1st, exactly the date which saw Juventus’ foundation.
The year is 1984 and the town is Kosovska Mitrovica, one of the main cities in northern Kosovo. Krasic takes his first steps as a football player in the local team (Rodar Kosovska Mitrovica) and immediately draws attention: in 1999, not yet 15 years old, he goes to Vojvodina Novi Sad where, at the very beginning of their career, other internationally know players such as Vujadin Boskov and Sinisa Mihajlovic appeared.
Krasic remains in Novi Sad for four seasons, attaining the captain role before moving to CSKA Mosca in 2004. In Russia, his talent definitely breaks out and his palmarès grows rich with impressive successes: during five years and half, Milos wins one UEFA Cup, two Russian titles, four Russian Cups and three Russian Super Cups.
His powerful dribbling technique, the crossing ability, his sharp right shot and the amazing goalscorer inclination enable him to receive the award as the Best Serbian Player of the Year in 2009 and also lead him to the national football team.
First, the Under-21 squad with which he reaches the final in 2004 European under-21 Championship (lost against Italy) and attends the Summer Olympics in Athens, then the major National squad where he plays a very important role, especially in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification, scoring one goal in the matches against Lithuania and Austria as well.
And now he is landing at Juventus for providing the team offensive tactics with quality and quantity.
