This Evening The Debut At The Olimpico (LIVE STREAMS)
Juventus will make its season debut this evening at the Olimpico Stadium in Torino, for the return match of Europa League play-off vs. Sturm Graz.
The bianconeri are starting from the result of 2-1 achieved during the first leg in Austria, thanks to the goals scored by Bonucci in the first half and by Amauri at the end of second half time. An important advantage which will allow Del Neri’s men to go on to the next turn even losing 1-0. Only if Juventus loses by more than two goals, they will be eliminated. By the result of 2-1 in favor of Sturm Graz, there will be extra times and, eventually, penalties. Right to avoid this eventuality Del Neri is asking for maximum concentration and he invites all players to concentrate only on this match, even though the championship debut is right around the corner, scheduled for Sunday in Bari.
Indeed the Austrian on away matches are a formidable opponent, also considering that during the last nine european away matches they only scored on one occasion, on October 22nd 2009, when, in Europa League, they were beaten 1-0 at home by Panathinaikos. In the others eight external matches scored goals have been ten. On the contrary, Sturm Graz is conceding a lot: always considering the last nine matches, he did not take any goal only on August 27th 2009, winning 1-0 vs. the Ukrainians of Metalist Kharkov. In the other eight matches taken goals have been nine.
This evening kick off will be at 8.45 p.m.. Referee will be Mr. William Collum, Scottish, international referee since 2006. The match will be broadcasted live on Mediaset Premium and deferred on Juventus Channel. Live match on Juventus.com.
