Who Is Fabio Quagliarella
He was born in Castellamare di Stabia on January 31st, 1983, he grew up in Youth Teams of Torino, the team with which he made his debut in Serie A on the 14th of May 2000 (victory for 2-1 vs. Piacenza). In 2002 he goes to Fiorentina, which was in Serie C2 at that time, where he plays only the first half of the Championship to go then to Chieti in Serie C1.
Confirmed for the following season, during which he scores 17 goals in 32 matches (in two seasons he scores totally 19 goals in 43 matches). His good performances convince Torino to take him back, for the Serie B season. With the Torino Quagliarella uses the opportunity to start as a holder and, by his 8 goals in 36 matches, contributes to Serie A promotion.
After Torino bankruptcy, in August 2005 Quagliarella pass to Udinese and was on loan to Ascoli. With the white & black jersey, vs. Treviso, he scores his first goal in Serie A. In season 2006-07 the forward, in ownership of Udinese and Sampdoria, player with the blucerchiati scoring 13 goals in the championship.
In June 2007 it’s necessary to use the envelopes: Udinese is the one winning the forward ownership who in Friuli, together with Di Natale, forms a very good pair of attack, which at the season of the season is the most prolific of Serie A. The following season is as good, and he scores totally 21 goals, eight in Uefa Cup, a competition in which he ends at third place in Top Scorers’ List.
In June 2009 Quagliarella is transferred to Napoli, where he plays with continuity and in the end his personal booty is 11 goals in 34 matches.
In the National Team, after various presences in Youth Teams, he makes his debut on March 29th, 2007 on the occasion of Italy-Scotland (2-0), valid for European qualifications. He took part to European Championship 2008 and to South Africa World Cup.
