(Man City - Juventus 1-1) Precious Tie In Manchester
Del Neri fielded a 4-4-2 formation with Del Piero and Iaquinta as attacking duo with Sissoko and Marchisio in central midfield.
The bianconeri were determined right from the start and on the 3rd minute, a Iaquinta shot is saved by Hart. One minute later, there is a free-kick for Juve: Del Piero's attempt goes wide.
It is the 5th minute when Krasic is caught off-side as he tries an incursion on the right. One minute later, there is a free-kick for Juve: Del Piero's shot is saved by keeper. Del Piero is anticpated into corner but the referee signals a goal-kick on the 8th minute.
On the 10th minute the bianconeri rejoice as a Iaquinta shot is slightly deflected and finds itself at the back of the net for the opener: 1-0.

The 13th minute sees Krasic grounded in the area but the referee signals to play on. Six minutes later, a Tevez shot goes wide. A Vieira shot goes wide three minutes later.
On the 25th minute, Krasic tries a run on the right but is anticipated into a throw in. One minute later, a Johnson shot goes high over the bar.
A powerful Boateng shot goes well wide on the 29th minute. Two minutes later, there is a free-kick for Juve after a foul on Krasic: ball cleared by the defence. On the 34th minute, a Barry header first hits the post and then Manninger manages to save after another attempt from the rebound.
Tevez is caught offside as he is about to shoot from close range on the 35th minute but 1 minute later, a through ball is received by Johnson who goes beyond Manninger and equalizes: 1-1.
On the 38th minute, a Zabaleta shot is well saved by Manninger. Four minutes later, Johnson tries to find his way through into the area but the Juve defence blocks well.
The 43rd minute sees a corner for Juve: ball into the area punched away by Hart. The first half ends on a 1-1 draw after 1 minute of stoppage time.
In the second half, both teams seemed to be rather cautious even though both the bianconeri and the citizens tried hard for the full 3 points.
On the 3rd minute, a Krasic attempt is held by the keeper. One minute later, the Juve defence clears as Adebayor tries to enter the area and Manninger saves on Adebayor by the citizen was off-side on the 6th minute.
It is the 8th minute when the Juve defence manages to clear on Barry notwithstanding Chiellini falling over another bianconero. Pepe comes on for Martinez, one minute later.
On the 10th minute, a good De Ceglie cross is put into the area with the Chelsea defence put into corner. From the flag, the ball reaches Chiellini who heads wide. Two minutes later, Johnson enters the area and shoots but Manninger saves well.
The 16th minute sees a ball into the Juve area being too long for Adebayor. Two minutes later, there is a free-kick for Juve after foul on Sissoko: Del Piero puts the ball into the area but Kompany clears.
On the 19th minute a Barry shot goes high over the bar and 1 minute later, there is a free-kick for Juve after a foul on Del Piero: the captain sees his attempt go inches wide! Great attempt!
It is the 22nd minute when a Tevez cross into the Juve area is headed wide by Adebayor. Motta comes on for De Ceglie on the 27th minute. Two minutes later, a ball into the Juve area is headed away by Chiellini.
The half-hour mark sees Melo coming on for Krasic. Five minutes later, a Silva attempt is saved easily by Manninger. On the 36th minute, Melo tries to enter the area but he is stopped by the defence.
Juve go close to taking the lead for the second time on the 40th minute. There is a free-kick for Juve after a foul on Iaquinta: Del Piero hits the crossbar with the ball bouncing onto the line and away! Unlucky!
Three minutes later, there is a corner for City after a number of attempts are cleared by the Juve defence: ball into the area but the defence clears.
The referee adds 3 minutes of stoppage time and on the 1st of the 3, Pepe first and then Melo after try to enter the area but the defence clears. On the 47th minute, a Sissoko shot goes just wide.
The last bit of action goes for the citizens as Tevez is stopped for a foul in attack. The match ends in a 1-1 draw with the bianconeri winning a precious point in Manchester.
