(Udinese - Juventus 0-4) Poker Of Aces In Udine!!
Del Neri fielded the classical 4-4-2 formation with Del Piero and Quagliarella as attacking duo and Felipe Melo and Marchisio as central midfielders.
Juventus immediately had a fiery start, looking very determined to bring the 3 points home. On the 3rd minute, Juventus benefit of a corner: Del Piero puts the ball into the area but the defence clears. One minute later, Del Piero tries a through ball towards Quagliarella but the defence intercepts.
The 6th minute sees some great defending by Bonucci on Di Natale. One minute later, a long distance shot by Quagliarella goes high over the bar. On the 8th minute there is a free-kick for Juve: Del Piero puts the ball in, Quagliarella tries to head home but the ball goes wide.
Isla tries a shot but the defence blocks well on the 10th minute and seconds later Storari saves a low shot. One minute later Melo tries a shot at goal but Handanovic saves easily.
On the 14th minute Quagliarella goes past 2 defenders but is stopped just before entering the area. Two minutes later, Pasquale stops Krasic with a foul after a great run by the Serbian national.
It is the 17th minute when JUve begin to reap the fruits of their efforts. There is a free-kick for Juve: Del Piero puts the ball into the area and Bonucci posts home for the opener: 1-0.
Udinese try to react and on the 19th minute a Pasquale cross goes wide. One minute later, there is a corner for Juve after a great Krasic run followed by a shot by Del Piero: the captain puts the ball into the area but the defence clears.
Joy is round the corner for JUve and on the 24th minute Krasic puts in a great cross and Quagliarella while falling hits the ball with the heel for the 2-0 and a magnificent goal.
Three minutes later, a Marchisio shot is saved by Handanovic. On the half hour mark there is a corner for Udinese: Chiellini saves on Sanchez. Four minutes later it Del Neri’s men who benefit of a corner: ball into the area but the keeper saves.
On the 35th minute, there is dangerous action in the Juve area but the defence manages to clear but Juve are playing a great match and four minutes later Quagliarella tries a right-footed curler but the ball goes just wide.
On the 40th minute, there is a corner for Udinese: ball into the area but Storari saves easily. Three minutes later, Krasic puts a perfect cross in towards Marchisio who shoots home for the 3-0.
Referee Bergonzi adds one minute of stoppage time but the first 45 minutes end with Juve leading by 3-0.
The second half sees Udinese trying to react to the great match played by Juventus. On the 3rd minute, Domizzi is stopped for a foul in attack. And 3 minutes later Storari performs a great save on a Sanchez shot.
Iaquinta comes on for Del Piero on the 7th minute. One minute later, Sanchez tries a shot at goal but the Juve defence clears well.
On the 9th minute there is a free-kick for Juve: Pepe crosses into the area but Coda clears into corner. From the flag the ball is put into the area but Iaquinta is stopped for a foul in attack.
The 13th minute sees a through ball towards Sanchez but Bonucci is very careful and frees the area from danger. Two minutes later Iaquinta has a 1 on 1 opportunity against Handanovic but the keeper manages to save.
Juve are piling up the pressure and on the 17th minute a Quagliarella shot goes high. One minute later, Marchisio fires a powerful shot but the keeper manages to save with difficulty.
On the 19th minute there is a great exchange between Pepe and Quagliarella with the former firing a great shot which is saved by Handanovic.
It is the 23rd minute when there is a free-kick for Udinese but this causes no problem for the defence. Sissoko comes on for Melo on the 25th minute.
There is still more joy to come for the bianconeri (today in white) as on the 31st minute there is a great bit of play by Chiellini who puts the ball towards Marchisio who in turn puts the ball towards Iaquinta who shoots home for the 4-0.
On the 38th minute Iaquinta stopped by Zapata upon entering the area and one minute later Bonucci clears a long ball by Floro Flores.
Juve have the opportunity to make it 5 as on the 42nd minute Iaquinta passes to Quagliarella in the area but the latter is anticipated by the defence. On the 45th minute Armero passes towards Di Natale but the Juve defence clears.
The referee adds to minutes of stoppage time but the match is over and the result is that of a great victory for Del Neri’s team.
