Del Piero: "We Must Go On From The Draw Against Inter"
"And now let us get back to work…". With these words, Alessandro Del Piero ended his periodical comment on his personal website. After 2 days of rest, the captain and his mates – apart from the internationals -, will be getting back to training in view of the next matches.
There is still some time before the match against Lecce (Sunday 17th at the Olimpico) but Del Piero seems already charged-up:
"With the two days of rest after the match at the San Siro, having come to an end – he wrote on his website www.alessandrodelpiero.com -, we will be back in Vinovo to train in view of the next championship match. We will be meeting again after the draw against Inter, a 0-0 result which in reality is more valuable than the result shows".
The draw away against the European Champions was well received and left a much more positive mark then the simple point in the table. The match at the Meazza could be a break-water for the season of Juventus:
"And so where do we go on from? I am satisfied with the performance of the team, with the way we behaved on the field, for the personality shown, for the atmosphere in which the match was played (notwithstanding the great rivalry) but – I must be clear – I am not one hundred percent satisfied with the result because our ambition is to win every match. Surely enough though, the 0-0 result at the San Siro is more than a draw because it is a good point of departure and an important step in our learning curve to arrive where we want to. And now let us get back to work…".
