As announced in the morning, Cristian Molinaro is unavailable due to the after effects of abdominal pains suffered during the last week.
The tests which ended today, allowed the identification of the cause of the problem. It is in fact a haematoma in the left abdominal regional the formation of which was spontaneous or traumatic as a consequence of a inborn vascular malfunction of benign characteristics.
The player was admitted at the Fornaca Clinic in Turin for precaution purposes and to undergo monitoring of the healing of the haematoma. His stay at the clinic will last a few days but he will be missing the rest of the season.
In about a month’s time further tests will be possible in order to establish whether he can return to normal activity or rest for a period of between 2 or 4 months more in case surgery is needed to solve the problem.
