The senior squad of Juventus has decreased in number. As from today, Cristiano Zanetti is not a Juventus player anymore. The midfielder from Carrara has been transferred to Fiorentina.
Zanetti’s adventure in Turin has therefore ended after three seasons. Having joined the club at the beginning of the 2006/07 season on a free release from Inter, Cristian made 71 appearances (63 in the championships shared between Serie A and B), 7 in the Coppa Italia and one in the Chmapions League, scoring 4 goals in total.
His return to Fiorentina is in reality a return home, the club in which he was brought up and with which he made his debut in the Serie A in 1995.
