The training session on Saturday morning, which preceeded the two days of rest granted by Ciro Ferrara, saw the participation of the players who are not busy with their respective national team. Zebina and Sissoko warmed-up separately but joined the rest of the group for a 5-a-side mini-match and a number of technical exercises.
