Interviewed at the end of the match, Buffon gave merit to Ferrara and the work he did during the week:
"The week was serene even thanks to the coach who gave us confidence and showed faith in us. This was quite a tough match but as the Inter captain said it was a good match and both teams played well. The 3 points we won today give us another injection of faith".
"Now it is important to be consistent and confirm ourselves against less high ranked teams. I must however say that I never thought Juve would fail in important matches. This does not mean an assured victory but that in any case we will fight hard".
