On one hand is the satisfaction for the victory against Cesena and on the other concentration for the match against Sassuolo. For Luciano Bruni and his boys the march in the 62nd edition of the Viareggio Cup goes on without a break.
After having won the group with flying colours, the Primavera also won the first knock-out match. The 3-1 victory against Cesena in the quarter-finals was an Immobile show but not only:
"Today we did not manage to play a great match – confessed the coach – but this was especially their merit. We played against an organized team which had already put Fiorentina in difficulty. The pitch did not favour us but the boys were clever, especially to get back the lead after having been equalized. On the 2-1 they unblocked and did better".
Now down with Sassuolo, a team which they already played against and beat them by a narrow margin at the Chisola (1-0 by Belcastro). The memory of that match raises the level of attention of the coach and the squad:
"I expect a match similar to the one against Cesena. We will find a hard opponent to beat, just like in the championship. Certainly the heavy defeat suffered against Palermo will have no weight and the fact that they eliminated Napoli is another reason for them to be respected. I am hopeful that the boys are well and all are responding well".
