An Avalanche Of Goals During The Short Match In Vinovo

Juventus group may even be reduced in these days, due to the absence of National Team Players, but who stayed in Vinovo is not sparing for sure. This afternoon training session is the evidence of it: the bianconeri have first worked in the gym, therefore they went on the pitch where, after warming up and an athletic technical group, they have been divided in three teams with four players each, to face a torello with high density sides.

“Showpiece” of the session was the short match, seven vs., seven on reduced pitch: from one side, with oranges bibs, Manninger, Grygera, De Ceglie, Sissoko, Diego and pitch assistant D’Angelo. On the other side, in white bib Storari, Grosso, Legrottaglie, Melo, Salihamidzic, Martinez and Del Piero. D’Angelo and Salihamidzic, after the first half changed team, but the commitment with which players faced each others for the whole match did not change, ended 8-8. So we got to “golden goal”, with Del Piero who by back heel, signed the victory for “whites”.

Trezeguet, engaged yesterday in Nantes for a charity match who saw many World champions of France ’98 involved in the event, had a moisturizing workout, while Iaquinta went on with his recovering program.
