At the end of the match against Roma, Luigi Del Neri complimented the team: "I am very happy with the performance of my players. We created many goal scoring opportunities and conceded very little. We were superior to Roma when it came to opportunities and we were clever enough to keep up with a team great shape".
Del Neri stated he saw "the right spirit and the right will" in his players and with regards to the result said: "a lot will be said about this match but we deserved to win.
